an hour before workout in the morning , say if my spin is at 8 , i like to drink a small cup of tea made with black tea and ginger and milk and splenda.
Is this okay to drink ?
Coz I feel somedays , if i workout in the morning on empty stomach , i can stand with water alone , it turns me off and prevents me to go to gym. but i have coffee or tea with milk then am right on .....
Is this okay? Will i still be burning fat stored from the previous night? |

| Whenever you work out, and whatever is in your stomach, your body is burning a combination of many things, none of them specifically the fat stored the night before. |

| I cannot function without coffee. I go for my runs on coffee and I do early morning yoga( if I have to that early) on a belly of coffee. It works for me. Better with than without. Every body is different. Listen to yours!!!! |

I have tea with milk and Splenda every morning before my workout.
I also usually have a small breakfast. (I then have something more to eat right after the workout.) |

| I'm not sure why you're assuming that you have fat stored at night. If you're trying to maintain or lose weight, you should be both (a) eating properly and (b) either running a calorie deficit or eating just enough to maintain. That combination shouldn't result in fat storage. |

| I don't see a problem drinking that in the morning. As long as you do eat breakfast before or after. I usually have something very small right before I work out. |
