Its been a week of network issues. Hence sorry for posting late.
Week 1 results:
REQUIREMENTS:
Cardio: 3 workouts @ 5 points each = 15 points
Strength:3 workouts @ 5 points each = 15 points
Water: 7/7 days @ 2 points each = 14 points
Goals: Met 2/3 goals @ 5 points each =10 points
TOTAL REQUIREMENT POINTS: 54 POINTS
BONUSES:
Additional cardio: _3_ @ 3 points each = _9_ points
Additional strength: _3_ @ 4 points each = 12_ points
Trying a different exercise: 1@ 2 points each = 2 points
Workouts over 90 minutes: _1_ @ 5 points each = _5_ points
15-minute+ stretch: 2 @ 2 points each =4 points
TOTAL BONUS POINTS: 32 POINTS
TOTAL POINTS: 86 points
WEEK 2 goals:
1. Meditation for atleast 15mins all 7 days- no excuse
2. All vitamins - no excuse
3. Staying Positive mentally and limiting to one grain and one fruit this week.

I am losing my mind! I dunno what I was looking at, but I thought you had 5 points for extra cardio sessions, when you had counted correctly. I already PMd KC and re-adjusted your points. Sorry about that!!!
I have never been called for jury duty! Sounds not so fun!
Today I started a mini run session during my AM cardio. Yesterday food was pretty good but I had to adjust my plan because we ended up going out for dinner.
Today I have a luncheon to attend but I think I can stay beachy!

Hi Team
Well I'm eating my SB lunch: salad with many veggies, shrimp and olive oil dressing......
So far so good today. I did a 30 min walk this morning, but won't get to the gym this evening as I have to go to my DD's house to pick up her cat, whom I'm babysitting while she's out of town.
Last night I did make it to the gym and attended an awesome group power class which really busted my a** (startin to feel it now!)
Otter no problem on the points--just thank you for being our leader!

Raj, look at all those points, WOW!!
Y'all are doing great!!
I've stuck with my goals of no nighttime eating and exercise every day, haven't tried a new recipe yet. Walked/jogged for 30 minutes last night and this morning. It has been so nice and cool in the morning and evening. I"ve come to realize I enjoy the "alone time" outside way better than Tae Bo in my living room! I'll keep the Tae bo to shake things up a bit.

OK
I don't lnow what the deal is today.
For starters, I decided to skip aerobics today because I didn't want my hair messed up for my luncheon--usually I am so sweaty after aerobics and my hair looks awful for the rest of the day. I know lame excuse, right? :oops:
Now I am RAVENOUS--30 minutes after eating lunch (I skipped the potatoes, bread and dessert at lunch, but had a glass of red wine)
I was planning on going to the gym after the lunch for some strength training, but now I just want to leave for home as planned at 4 PM. I already did one cardio today, but not my strength.
I broke down and had a luna bar and that seems to be curving my hunger. I feel munchie today...grrr. I am about 10 days out from TOM, could this be PMS??

Hi everyone
I woke up late and couldn't do my AM walk, so I went to the gym right when I got to work I power walked 24 laps and ran 6 so a bit over 3 miles in 40 minutes, and another goal down. Food has stayed beachy but it has been tough because I am muchie for some reason....
I am going out of town tomorrow but I will try and post before I leave. I will be back on Sunday nite

Are you drinking enough water, Otter? Thirst can mimic hunger. With exercising and the hot weather, you may need to drink more!
I finally "broke the zero" -- down to 129! I'll wait until it sticks a few days before I change my ticker, but I think it's legit. ;) |

Congratulations on breaking down into the 120's, I know that has to feel great!
It looks like everyone else is doing great also. Racking up on those points!
Looks like I'm going to get by with the bare minimums again this week but the next two weeks will be a different story. I applied for a scholarship at the YMCA and it has finally gone through. I have to go monday to fill out the paperwork and then I will become the exercise queen once more! (that's what my husband and friends call me because I love to go to the Y) Whoo Hoo! I can't wait. I have my ipod loaded with playlists that motivate, new running shoes, and most importantly, an AWESOME new sports bra! Is everyone on our team female? Don't want to annoy any guys with too much information on the issue of a good sports bra, lol. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day and a great weekend! Talk to you all later :)

THanks for the congrats, it's sticking, as the scale showed 128-129 again today. Wahoo!! Will do strenght training this weekend. I missed one of my goals this week. I didn't eat enough yesterday so I was sooooo hungry last night I had some trail mix. Grrr. I've been doing so well not eating at night, but really hadn't eaten enough all day and couldn't wait 'til breakfast. Oh well. |
