| i am in phase one of the diet. did any one have any pains in their side like where their kidney would be? i'm on day 5. |

Hi
I have the same pain. It is the exact same pain i felt a month ago when I had a kidney infection due to a bladder infection. I was given antibiotics through an IV and then had to take antibiotics for 2 weeks 4 times a day.
It sucked royally because I had no symptoms of a bladder infection whatsoever, then all of a sudden a sharp pain in my kidney when i breathed, high fever, chills, hot flashes...I waited a week with these symptoms thinking it was associated with a sever sunburn (which it wasnt, but i had a pretty bad one at the time).
And just this morning I woke up with the same pain in my back...I scheduled an apointment with a doctor tomorrow morning so I can get rid of this as soon as possible. However, I do not know what caused my infection (if it is one again) this time, I know the last time I linked it to sexual activity.
it hurts :( |

| hmmm. well i don't have the fever, chills, or anything like that. just the pain on the one side...the left side. let me know what they find out. |

Yeah it is apparently another kidney infection...I dont know why all of a sudden I've been getting them, I am relatively healthy, no surgeries, no major illnesses besides a flu every 4-5 years...Meh
The doctor put me back on antibiotics, and I also went and bought a cranberry vitamin suppliment, which he said would be an excelent idea for preventing future problems.
I also told him I was on SBD, and he said that it should be a cause, he seemed somewhat familure with the diet.
I feel like crap today...pumping down some tylonol to keep my fever down, gettin some chills...in this gorgeous San Diego weather too!
