Somedays I do, Somedays I don't

I do not weigh anymore so often because my weight fluctuates daily. Some days I drink a ton of water others less. Somedays salty foods others not. I am trying to concentrate on the overall progress of eating healthy and not binging. I have had my little slips,but it is hard to break a habit I have had since teenage years. I am 41. I wish 80 pounds would come off like magic, but alas, it takes work. I love this board and it has helped me stay on track. Looking foward to your responses and experiences. Progress not perfection.

Hi. I do not weigh myself much anymore either. I found I get discouraged and want to just give up. I keep measuring my waist though and have lost a total of 4in, and about a total of 20 lbs. I have been on P2 for about 12 weeks or so (lost count) and had expected to loose more quicker because of reading some of the posts, but keep telling myself not to give up. I never want to gain back the weight I have lost back. I am feeling much better about the way I look and have been fitting into things that have not fit in years. It does get easier once you get used to the new way of eating. I try lots of different foods so I am not eating the same thing all the time. Just do not give up, even if you slip up. It is worth it!!
