Hello!
I'm on week one of phase 2 and the SB diet has been excellent help during this time, especially with balancing out some of the more ridiculous mood swings from some of the fertility meds. I've been losing weight very slowly, since I want to be sure I eat plenty.
On Tuesday I had an Ovidrel trigger shot and Thursday started on Prometrium (Progesterone). My weight has gone up since then. My eating habits haven't changed, so I suspect it's mostly weight gain, but I wonder if anyone else has had this same experience. I'd like to at least confirm that this is a normal reaction to the meds so I don't worry about the weight gain (i.e. it will either come off when I stop the Prometrium or I'll get pregnant, in which case I'll slowly start dining for two...)
Thanks!

This is very normal. The pogesterone caused huge (up to 10 pounds) fluctuations in my weight. Just think about how your bodies 'normal' hormone fluctuations effect your body around your cycle and then take that times 100  (fertility drugs are a roller coaster ride aren't they?!)
If you're concerned about the weight, talk to your doctor about it! Good luck to you! I have 3 miracle babies! (and no, they are not triplets 8) ) |

| I am currently taking progesterone, follistim and ovidrel and have gained about 15lbs in 2 and 1/2 months. I'm wondering if you have had success conceiving? I'm on month 3 of trying and someone suggested sbd to help things along. ?? |

| I did - twice. My youngest will be 8 tomorrow. I think anything you can do to be healthier is going to be of benefit. And you certainly want to be the healthiest you can be when you do get pregnant! God Bless - I pray you have success! |
