I thought it might be helpful to post some information regarding water.
First, here is a very good article explaining why you need to drink water. Excellent points! (I just found this online, I know we're not low-carb, but it was a good article).

Eight glasses of water a day is the *bare minimum* people who are *not overweight* should drink. So most people need much more, especially those who are overweight. Eight cups is what you need to replenish what you lose during the day. Add exercise, hot weather, a lifestyle with limited grains (you do not retain water as well without grains) and you need much more!!
You will find if you up your fluid intake to three or four quarts a day, you will be craving that much water in a week or two! Drink up!
