One year ago today, I began an exercise and diet regimin that has been successful beyond my wildest dreams. Within a few weeks I started South Beach for the second time.
I weighed in a year ago this morning at 417 lbs. Today, the scale read 267 lbs., a number I have not seen in almost 30 years. A loss of 150 lbs.
I figure that have run/walked/jogged more than 400 miles in that time.
It has been an amazing and incredible journey.
68 lbs to go!

Jeff -- Oh my gosh you story really got to me. I'm a 63-year-old grandmother (remember, 60 is the new 40...), have been married to the same wonderfully fit guy for 40 years and 4 days. We've raised six great kids, and for the last 20 years I've struggled with the same 25-40#. When I see what I've accomplished, I have to believe that I can do this too. Incredibly enough, you make me want to take up running!!!
