Today is my birthday and my husband just surprised me with an elliptical machine! I'm SO EXCITED! I've been wanting one for months and I can't wait to use it. We have to assemble it first though! :)
Two years ago, when I was 230 pounds, I hated exercise. Now I exercise six days a week and almost everything on my birthday list was exercise-related. I love being healthier! :D |

Good for you! That IS exciting. I have one and it's so nice to be able to exercise w/out leaving the house (I like to do it in the morning before I ever step out into that heat!).

Actually I think most women wouldn't respond too well if their husbands bought them exercise equipment for a birthday.
I think this reflects quite well on Cort actually. |

LOL Papa - I can see how that would be dangerous territory for some people, like "Hey, are you trying to tell me something?" ;) But my hubby knows i've been dying for an elliptical and he knows how committed I am to exercising. He's been so supportive of my exercising, it's so sweet.
I used the elliptical this morning and it kicked my butt. I love it! |

That is a great gift. Sure beats fuzzy socks and slippers. :lol:
I wish my hubby WOULD get me exercise stuff for gifts. I got a carpet cleaner for Christmas a few years ago. :roll: Even my Dad thought it was tacky and he's the king of tacky. :lol: :lol: I do like my carpet cleaner though. It could've been another pair of flannel jammies with cats allover them :evil: |
