Hi - thought I could share this here....

It's day 11 for me, so I'm still Phase 1. I have been walking everyday, always pushing a heavy stroller (sometimes single, sometimes double). I also have 4 kids age 6 and under in the house all day (3 are mine) so that keeps me busy but I don't count it as exercise.

I haven't been to the gym since January. In fact, I haven't really worked up a sweat exercising since January. Yesterday I went to the gym and used the elliptical (I love those!) for 35 minutes, and sweated a LOT. But I made it, and probably could have gone on longer but had to get home. In the gym change room I looked at myself in mirror. I was sweaty and red, but I felt GREAT. I was wearing my Red Sox T-shirt - so it was loose - but I thought that I looked better. Maybe even thinner than how I looked in the same shirt in the mirror at home.

Maybe it was just the endorphins from exercising.
Maybe it was just feeling fit and alive again.
Maybe it was a trick mirror, only found in gyms and clothing stores.

But I felt great, and could see a glimpse of the body that I used to have hiding in there!

Can't wait to go back tonight! I'd love to hear from people on how they felt after their first REAL exercise session when they started SB.
