:D Nobody around today yet? I'm trying to figure out what would cause my internet to fail in the morning but work the rest of the day. Time to call the company that installed and see what they say.

Beach Critters is cute and I also really like Luv-My-Body cause we ALL should love our bodies and take better care of them! Let's see who else chimes in today and make the decision tonight.

I'll be going out on the bike when dh gets home and my eating is on track so I feel great!

Off-Topic but is anyone going to see Harry Potter tonight? DD just called (she's at her father's for the month) and her father is taking her at midnight. She's very excited and I'm sure I'll get a full report tomorrow! We've got a soccer tourney in Seattle after she gets back so we're thinking of going as a family to the 3-D IMAX. I can't wait!

Hope everyone's having a great day!!

I'm going to see Harry Potter tomorrow morning! I'm a HUGE fan. I'll give my full review tomorrow. I'm usually really critical because they leave out so much from the book and I get disappointed, but I love seeing the book come to life.

Today was a good workout day. I did my cardio, strength training, AND a "push it". I can't wait to be done with the first week and see all our stats. Let's keep it up!!!!

Hi Everyone!

I am a fan of "luv my body" for our team name - it's cheesy, but I think we could all use more of that type of internal positive thinking - or maybe I'm just speaking for myself here :) Anyways, that's my vote.

Today was a good day. Still feeling a bit under the weather in terms of this asthma-y cough, but went to the gym anyways. Got in my cardio and strength requirements for today (yay!) and met my water goals. Today, I had lunch out with a friend (this is why I made one of my goals this week to bring lunch to work 4/5 days) - but I think I chose wisely.

Also...I weighed myself...and I'm down to 207! I was sooo happy! However, I'm being cautious about that - I know that when a person is ill and not eating as much as they usually do, the body often turns to muscle as a source of fuel. I was eating a little bit less the past week, but I think calorie-wise I was still around the 1700-1800 mark per day (I'm usually around 2100-2200 for weight loss - I monitor very loosely). Anyways, I won't change my ticker just yet - I'll weigh in next week and see what it says. If it is the case that I'm at 207 now though, I'll adjust my goal for the end of the challenge - make it 200 instead of 205.

Glad to see everyone is doing so well! I love this - I thought about it all day, and it definitely helped me make better choices.

Later!

Hi there, Fellow Challengers!

Yesterday was a roller coaster of work out emotions... I had a manager's outing for my hotel, but I was still going to leave early to go to my tap class. Then when I was supposed to leave, I was met with a chorus of, "No, you can't leave us! You just can't! We never get to hang out with you!"

So, I stayed... Then I felt guilty, so I left after another hour, went home, and headed straight for the gym for a heart pumping sweat session that was fantastic!

Woo hoo for working out!

Hey, teammates!

Did both pilates and some dance last night, so good points there - I really "pushed it" as that was my first cardio since the sciatica started! Food has been great today, water as well. Looking forward to doing something physical once the kids are in bed.

Hope you're all doing well!

WOW! You guys are awesome!!! Keep up the good work!!!

I just got done with today's bike ride. 11 miles, just over an hour with some hills so cardio and strength. When my rides are under an hour I only count them as one or the other but not both. It was a nice night to ride but still in the 90s out. Thank goodness for low humidity! Food was good today and I got way more than my required water in. I'm listing my food in my journal so I won't do that here too.

emmy I hear ya with being critical of the movies. I'm re-reading the books right now so they're fresh in my mind when the new one comes out. Can you imagine how long the movies would be if they included it all though? YIKES! Some stuff I can't believe they cut though, like Peeves in the first movie. I also don't think the movies delve into the "why" of some things, like the Shrieking Shack. To get the whole thing ya gotta read the books too!

cheekymo I hope that cold leaves you soon. I have "reactive airway syndrome" which is just another term for runner's asthma. It's gotten better the past few years and exercise seems to help. When I first started cycling I had to carry my inhaler with me and now I seldom need it and leave it at home most of the time. Awesome job on the weight loss! Keep drinking lots of water and I'll bet it stays off. With all the exercise you're doing maybe you'll break the 200 barrier by the end of the challenge! Way to go!!!

queen Hey, ya gotta take care of your emotional health too. It's awesome that you still hit the gym. :D

ljmusic Sounds like you're doing great! i hope that sciatica clears up fast for you. How many kids do you have? Sometimes it's a challenge to schedule around them but it's worth it.

My vote is for Luv-My-Body too

Yesterday was a bad day for me. :( We had a pot luck baby shower and I wasn't good. Instead of making it an all day bad day I just kept it to the one meal and was good for the rest of the day. Surprisingly when I weighted myself I was down another .5 lbs. :) Still think its TOM weight and from being bloated.

I"m not a HUGE Harry Potter fan but I do like to watch them. It does seem like it would be great to see it in 3D.

I got in 45 mins of walking yesterday. It was cool enough to go walking outside. Just before going I saw the neighbor and she was about to walk her dogs so I asked her to wait while I changed. Walking with someone or when I listen to my IPOD makes exercising not as hard. It had been awhile sinced we walked together so it was great to catch up.

Cheeky - Your going to get to that short term goal in no time. Keep up the good work and I hope you start feeling better.

Queen ~ Good for you still going to the gym and getting in your workout.

ljmusic ~ I wasn't sure what sciatica was so I looke it up. Ouch I hope you start feeling better.

luv ~ 11 miles of biking, my butt is hurting just thinking about it, lol. I haven't riden a bike in years. We have a scooter and I'm just learning to feel comfortable on that. They say it's like riding a bike, I don't think so. The turning seems a little awkward. Great job.

yay! Everyone's doing awesome! :D :D

I've been doing well too! I've been doing at least 2 workouts everyday and I love it! I stepped onto the dreaded scale and I've gotten rid of 3 out of the 4 gained due to transitioning/cheating. I started phase II not too long ago, so a little gain was expected. So technically I'm still a pound heavier than what my ticker says, but it's ok because it'll get there and surpass it in no time!

I'm looking through the recipe section today to cook for the rest of the week.

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK EVERYONE!

Let's all get there and really love our bodies, ourselves!! We can do it! :D

Hello Team!!!!!

Everyone is doing great. I did my cardio today! I've done my 4 cardio sessions for this week and one strength training. So, just one more strength training and I'm good for the week!

Ok, so I was REALLY happy with Harry Potter. I didn't think they explained things very well though. I found myself answering a lot of questions for my family about certain things. For example, they didn't show when they go to the hospital to see Mr. Weasley and they end up seeing Neville visiting his parents. So, Beatrix wasn't explained very well. I have to say that the character that played Dolores Umbridge did a really good job. I wanted to slap her! They also didn't explain Fred and George's shop and how Harry had given them the money to start it. Oh well! It was really good. I'm probably going to see it a couple more times.

Keep up all the good work everyone! We're going to ROCK this challenge!

Excellent work everyone!!!

I still need to get my workout in for today, and I was feeling fairly unmotivated, but you all are motivating me!

I did a 30 minute cardio workout yesterday at the gym. I have to admit, I hate cardio. I would much rather do weights when I go to the gym. I've considered that if I do circuit training (weights at a faster pace, less weight), that I can count that as cardio. Maybe I'll do that one day this week.

You all are doing great! Keep up the good work!

By the way, I also vote for Luv My Body.

Hi Everyone!

Another good day for me - I'm so thrilled! Feeling really energetic as well.

Emmy! Fantastic job - you've already got most of your exercise requirements in for the week. It must be nice to know that anything you do here on out will be a bonus :D

Greenforest - You're amazing! Two workouts a day? I wish I had the patience for that!

Dani - Don't stress about the potluck - you picked right up, got back on the horse, and got in some good exercise too. That's what it's all about!

Luvs - Your bike ride sounds so great, and I always love what spinning classes can do for my behind  By the way, you're a great team leader, very motivating to have you cheering all of us on!

LJ - I am simply amazed that you're working out through that pain. Good on you, but don't hurt yourself!

Queen - Tap class? that sounds like a great workout! Good for you for working out even after your work event. That's commitment!

Congrats everyone (I hope I didn't miss anyone, and if I did, forgive me!). Can't wait to see how everyone's doing tomorrow!

Holy Cow! You guys are really doing great. I'd better get my rear in gear before you all outdo me.

Today I went for a walk with dh and ds and then had to chase down a horse that escaped into the wrong pasture. LOL! Silly girl is old and has numerous medical issues but she was feeling good tody. I'm joining a local bike club and going on a ride with them on Saturday which will be FUN but longer than I'm used to. Food was good today, I'm staying on track even though I really felt like snacking today. Instead I grabbed some cauliflower and ranch.

I forgot to log that I did push-ups and crunches on Monday. I think I'll make that a goal for next week to do them nightly. I haven't done push-ups since maybe Junior High so it'll count as a new exercise. LOL!

Emmy Thanks for the Harry Potter review. I can't wait to see it but I hope I can get through the books again before then! Better get to reading!

Have a great night! My internet is still down in the AM so I'll be back on in the afternoon.

Doing good. Lost more weight. I hope I can keep this up over the weekend. The weekends are the hardest for me.

I got in 45 mins cardio. Looks like tonight should be cool enough to go outside and walk if not I'll be walking to WATP.

Thanks Cheeky for the encouragement.

Well today has been a good eating day but I haven't exercised. TOM started this morning :( . SO, I was feeling a bit bloaded. I might go for a walk this evening, but will definitely be at the gym in the morning for my last strength training session. Hope everyone is having a good day.
