well today is the first day of my diet. im nervous... i wonder is that normal?? lol its 12:19am and im already worried. im all prepared tho. i forgot to buy eggs at the store so im gonna have something else, maybe a boston lettuce with turkey rolled up in it.
the good news is a good friend of mine is on the sbd and im visiting her tommorow so we can keep eachother strong. its hard at home though. i have an 8yr old and a 5 yr old and a husband thats not doing this with me. so im gonna need all the help i can get.
hmmmm, ok maybe i need sleep now..lol

I'm surprisingly NOT hungry LOL, but I've been drinking a lot of water tonite. I had my last "blast" on Mother's Day since I went out to eat with my family, and new there would be things I could not have for awhile when I start. I can't wait to start losing, and want to wear short this summer so badly!!
My short term goal is to lose 40 pounds
My long term goal is to lose 60 pounds for my sons wedding May 22, 2005
I must keep saying, This time I will NOT fail!! :D |

i want to wear anything that doesnt show rolls...lol
im 205 now and i at least want to be 140
i just feel bad about myself . i need a slef esteem boost...
i used to be a size 7 in pants then i had kids...
never did loose the weight. so sad
so this is my chance ya know? |

oh my goodness... this morning i woke up and made me a lettuce sandwich,
let me explain.
i had a large peice of boston lettuce and i put 4 thinly sliced peices of turkey on it and a light mayo, just a dab tho that was sugar free. then i rolled it up.
it was HORRIBLE...lol
i made my self eat 1/2 of it but uh ill be using the turkey and lettuce for something else in the near future.
the coffe with equal and sugar free french vin. creamer was great tho.
ok, so maybe tommorow ill eat eggs and canadian bacon...
i thought it would be good. :( ok so the start wasnt so good. im not hungry tho. i have a ? is v-8 ok ever? like the first phase or 2nd?

Try some of the ricotta recipes like Mock Oatmeal & Mock Cinnabon.
For my mock cinnabon I mixed
1/2cup ricotta
vanilla to taste(I just splased a bit in there, probably 1/2 a teaspoon)
Cinnamon(I love cinnamon so I put a whole teaspoon in there)
1 packet of splenda(or whatever sweetner you use)
Mix it all together.
It's pretty yummy. Some people heat it up, but I like it cold. Also, you can put pecans in it if you would like. |

well today went rather well i think, i was outside all day and boy am i burnt, i was burnt anyhow and i decided to work outside cleaning and mowing and lots of yard work and then i went for a swin and did exercises in the pool, it was lovely till now :cry: but hey i exercised! LOL
so anyhow here is my chow for today.
b- 1/2 of a boston lettuce turkey roll up and a LF cheese stick coffe with equal and sf french vin. creamer
s-NADA water
l- small salad with teaspoon of basil vinagerette with olive oil dressing diet soda (i cant give em up)
s-sf hard baskin robbins candy (thanks dee)
d- small salad with the dressing same as above with 4 cherry tomatoes and a bratwurst on the grill. diet soda
s-10 nuts coffee with equal and sf creamer
i wonder, did i over do it? im not that hungry really so i think today went okay
and i dont even know is the brat ok? |

well today has been better, i had a breakfast that tasted better, a yummy snack and a great lunch. what i have learned though is pms-ing on this diet is HORRIBLE. I WANT CAKE, I WANT CHOCOLATE, I WANT ... ok i feel better...
coffee sf french vin. creamer, equal
breakfast- 2 slices of canadian bacon and left over smoked turkey breast from this weekend, 5.5 oz v-8
snack- low carb(something) sf choc raspberry square
lunch- grilled smoked lean turkey sausage, salad with cherry tomatoes and olive oil basil vinagerette diet soda |

oh my gawd!!
CAKE!!! ... i know... it sucks... i feel like i am almost missing apart of me by not havig my cake at this time of my month!! :shock:

i know! im not doing so well today, im hungry all the time it seems, i cant stop snacking, ok after lunch i had a lf cheese stick, another small peice of sausage, and a teaspoon of peanutbutter...
OH SOMEBODY STOP ME!

does anyone ever get like this? like they cant get filled up? im eating a much smaller size than i have been, maybe thats it. my whole meal fits on a saucer ... |

it is just one of those days...
before this diet.. i ate pretty healthy...but...there were just some days...where.... MAN... i could not get full...and nothing was ever really what i wanted....
i would go to safeway like 5 times a day and just try to figure out what it is that my body was screaming for....
sometimes i would hit it...sometimes i would not... *shrug*.. it kinda sucks!!... and it is always around THIS time...LOL
so... you are totally not alone... i was snacking and snacking last night... like a bite of this...and a bite of that...and NOTHING was what i really wanted... i want CAKE....or a hostess product...LOL
but in the long run... without cake until my wedding day...that cake will be the best cake i could ever eat...hehehe
i think if you drink some more water...maybe flavor it a bit...that might help... or... brush your teeth!! It can kill some of my snacking needs... it is wierd... |
