Instead of just relying on salads for vegetables, try other things.
There's a ton of veggies you could be having - broccoli, cauliflower, pole/runner beans, cabbage, leeks etc. etc.
And you can do many things with them - caseroles, bakes etc.
Just be a bit creative and think outside of the box a bit.

| 2of3 - I'm glad you pointed out the 'other veggies'! I can't tolerate constant salads, but I love stir fry or steamed or roasted veggies. A small salad once a day is fine but if I tried to live on huge ones twice a day I'd be relocating my desk to the ladies room! |

I can eat salads once a week under duress.
But steamed veggies and roasted veggies, I could (and I do) every day.

| Oooohhhh, I have to remember that for pizza! BTW, I read somewhere else on this board that a person took Turkey Pepperoni, put cheese it, and heated it in the mwave until the cheese melted and the peps got crisper. I tried it-not bad. (mine didn't get real crisp-maybe better in the toaster oven). Ate on a hungry day. |
