June Challenge, Final Week results: Movin' Meetoos

Good morning, everyone!

Sorry, Meemoo, I was up early and just wanted to post before I left on vacation for the next few days. Didn't do as much as I would have liked, but met all my goals and scored some points for the team! Here are the stats:

REQUIREMENTS:
Cardio: 4 workouts @ 5 points each = 20 points
Strength: 2 workouts @ 5 points each = 10 points
Water: 7/7 days @ 2 points each = 14 points
Goals: Met 3/3 goals @ 5 points each = 15 points
TOTAL REQUIREMENT POINTS: 59 POINTS

BONUSES:
Did 3 additional cardio sessions (all 2-a-day): 15 points
(Push it) Did 3 different workouts in one day: 2 points
(Push it) Got up and did workout BEFORE teaching VBS - I was SO tired! 2 points
(Push it) Did an extra-long soak in the tub ( "me time" was a goal this week, but this was a huge chunk of time) 2 points
(Push it) Got up early to work out after staying up late to take said bath, and on the last day of VBS, too! 2 points
(Push it) Did NOT get a treat to celebrate when we went out to dinner to celebrate end of VBS/start of summer vacation - needed SERIOUS willpower 2 points
(Push it) Took my stuff and worked out while out of town visiting family 2 points
(Push it) Got home Sunday night and worked out again after driving 2.5 hours and eating a big dinner - woohoo! 2 points
TOTAL BONUS POINTS: 29 POINTS

TOTAL POINTS: 88

Weight-wise, I started this challenge at 152.5 on June 4, and ended it (as of Friday) at 145.5 ... wow, that's 7 pounds GONE! This challenge kicked my butt, and I'm so grateful. As I said at the beginning, I was in it to help me stay on track for good health, and it has really helped with that. Thanks, all, for your support and encouragement!

And I have to say ... it felt GOOD to see my family today for the first time since the end of March - so, so many great compliments on how healthy and fit I look, and lots of questions about what I was doing to get there. Preached a lot of SBD!

Hope everyone feels great about the fitness progress they made, whether big or small - we ALL moved toward better health, so we ALL win! Yay, Meetoos!

Requirements

water: 2 of 7 days = 4 points
one cardio of 30 minutes = 5 points


AND that's it - 9 points.

Weight is UP from the beginning of June - so no points there either.

Wow, Ljmusicmom those are some good Push It bonuses,
and applying a Push It to all our efforts is a great concept - and it works for you, small wonder you had such a great weight loss.

Thanks Searay for going first, so I will get out my info, I stepped on scale and although I am thrilled my stomach is flat and my jeans fit, I have not lost a pound this whole month! Deflating to be sure, but I do know that first week I did all that exercise I ate more because I felt entitled.

Happily, this past week I combined the SB eating with increased exercise.
With this habit results will surely be on the way.

My Points:

Cardio: 4 workouts @ 5 points each = 20 Points
Strength: 2 workouts @ 5 points each = 10 points
Water: 3 Days at 2 Points each = 6 Points
Goals: 2/3 goals @ Points each = 10 Points

Bonuses:

Cardio: 2 extra cardio workouts @ 5 Points = 10 Points
New Exercise: Yoga aerobics @ 2 Points = 2 Points
Push It: for 3 workouts (reached 12 Pound wts. for
back exercise) @ 2 points = 6 Points
Push It: for not eating more when doing more exercise
this week @ 2 points = 2 Points

Total Points: 66 Points

I loved this challenge, what is great about this kind here is that
it covers other behaviors as opposed to exercise only.

Hi Ladies.

I'm sad this challenge is ending. Despite the fact that I lost no weight, I did enjoy stepping up my exercise and my clothes are fitting better. Sat I did my Pilates class and was able to do with ease some things that have always been difficult for me.....

I also thank all of you for the good support!, and Meemoo for leading!

ljmusicmom~ Thank you so much for starting this thread. I added the extra 25 points you earned for your 7 pounds lost. That's 5% of your body weight!! Your grand total is 118!! Way to go!!!

OK here's my stats:

Bonus:

90 min. Workout:1 @ 5 points = 5 points
Tried 2 new workouts @ 2 points = 4 points

Total Bonuses: 18

Grand Total: 72 (Yay! That's my highest, and hopefully enough to help me reach my goal of being in the top 3. If not, then my total is 67 for not reaching that goal)

My heart just wasn't in it this month, guys - I guess I underestimated how much I could accomplish during this busy month. I'll try again in the fall when vacation's over and kiddo gets back to school.

Hi everyone. I did not do very well during week 4. I also forgot to weigh myself this morning so I don't know if I lost anything. I highly doubt it.

Cardio 3/4 = 15 points
Strength 0/2 = 0 points
Water 7/7 = 14 points
Goals 2/3 = 10 points

Push it bonus (ran 30 minutes straight for the first time) = 2 points

Total = 41 points

Way to go on everyone completing this challenge!! I am so proud to have been a member of the Movin' Meetoos. Our final week's total was 504 points!

The top 3 Meetoos were:

ljmusicmom ~ 113 points
meemoo ~ 77 points
valkm ~ 66 points

I want to give a shout out to ljmusicmom who was in the Top 3 every week, and 3 of those weeks she was the top point earner!! Way to go! You worked so hard!

I hope you all check out the July Challenge Thread and sign up! It's the same as the June challenge (except no points lost for missing workouts, which I don't anyone calculated anyway :wink:)
