Around 2 months ago, I hired a personal trainer for 30 minutes sessions. I met with him for a month for 2 times a week. He was well worth the money. He taught me some Upper body and lower Body workouts.
I highly recommend it for people you are trying to lose body fat. I go to the gym 4 times a week or more for weight training circuit training. You just need to invest 30 minutes a session. This is how it works in a nutshell. Example: For lower body, you start with a multi-muscle exercise like squats. Then you go to the next exercise like leg extentions. You only allow yourself 30 seconds in between exercises, then you go to like hamstrings, abs, calves, what have you... You could repeat the program for another circuit. I usually am doing 3 circuits right now, but it usually takes a little longer than 30 minutes. But when I was doing the personal training, it was 2 circuits.
So all it is pretty much is weight training AND cardio training at the same time. All because of the 30 second rests in between exercises. It keeps up your heart rate up and you are buring a lot of calories. I love it. It has got me more motivated with weight training because you only need to invest 30 minutes a day at it. I hate staying at the gym for an hour before just doing weights. This is quicker pace. And it feels like you are actually working out... |

I've thought about getting a trainer, mostly to see if I'm doing things correctly.
I've lost weight, and inches, but the body fat is still there. I feel like I'm working hard enough to get rid of it, but it just isn't going anywhere. :( |

| Try circuit training. It's actually good for you to change programs, and I think you might start seeing some more weight loss like I have. |
