| The show on low carbs diets last night in the Food Channel was pretty good! Did anyone see it? The lady that was interviewd said she did not lose to much week the first week, but the second week she lost the 8 lbs. I am on my first week, and even though I feel lighter I have only lost 1 lb!!! My goal is losing 10 lbs. Is there is anyone outthere with the same concern or someone that has gone through the same thing? Any experiences and hopes are welcome! I hope I survive the weekend! Weekends are sooooo hard for me! |

| I do know that with this diet, if you are only wanting to lose a small amount(<15lbs) then it does take longer for the weight to come off. I don't know why that is.... |

I was channel flipping and ran across it by accident. I did see the segment with the woman on SBD trying to get down to a target weight to get into the reserve or national guard (I don't remember which one.).
FWIW, my wife "only" lost 4 lbs in two weeks on P1. She has been more frustrated than I have, but has stuck with it and continues to make slow progress. Like paiger81 said, it appears that those with less to lose, lose more slowly. Stay the course and be patient and you should reach your goal! |

| I only have about 10 pounds to lose and as of day 8 I have not lost anything. My clothes fit better though. I think part of the problem may be that the SB dies is fairly close to how I usually eat and I have always exercised tons. I am just trying to be patient and hope that in the long run the SB diet will do what it takes to lose those last 10 pounds in a healthy way as opposed to the starvation diets I used to do. Most of my weight is in my legs as well. I have heard it takes longer to get rid of that weight as opposed to stomach fat. Good luck! just stick with it it will happen/ :P |
