Hi everyone
As promised starting a new thread.
I just found out I am going to London for a conference next month. I think it will be fun, but I wish DH could go with me.
He will be at home with 6 kids from Sat-Thursday! Poor fella!
Thanks for all the points updates just waiting on Needs it Gone and BKRO 9 if you are out there!
Sar Bear... I think we can hold off on your points. Will you be able to post and project points? --or would you rather wait until your return?
Honestly, I think Rommel's team got this challenge--but that is ok..I think everyone who participated got alot of good stuff out of it. I needed to get back on track after my cruise and I am better off for participating!
Well I need to scat
Cardio and strength today
See you later

I started the week off well: today I have done 2 x 32 minute cardio sessions on the elliptical - all in a reverse motion for a push it bonus. I also lifted weights for biceps, triceps and shoulders, followed by some glute work.
Here's to a butt kicking final week! |

I can project points, and post on Friday afternoon. That would work well actually!!
Just got back from the first workout of the week and it was a doozey!! I get bonus points for a new running route AND pushit points (last mile was a giant hill that my huge dog could barely handle even walking). It was fun though! |

HI everyone
Monday was an awesome exercise day. I did a 45 minute cardio that I am calling "Push it points" on for the added intensity. I did a 30 minute cardio later in the day as well as some upper body strength and even did an ab blaster work out. Phew
Today I got back from a great 45 minute power walk and I am drenched! It is terribly humid here.
Well I have to go!
Looks like just about everyone's points are in. I think there is one or 2 more folks but I will double check and let you know later
Take care

I kicked my BUTT today! Firstly, I did 2 x 32 minutes on the elliptical, 1 of those with intervals for a push it bonus. Then I took my kids to the pool for a couple of hours this afternoon and I swam widths for a while as they played (I wanted to stay in the shallow end as near to them as I could get so lengths were out of the question). Anyway, I lost count a couple of times so I went back to a number I knew I'd swum so I swam at least 75 widths of the pool. So there's another cardio workout AND a new exercise bonus. I am bushed!
Here's hoping we all go out of this challenge on a high note this week. I think everyone should be very proud of what we have accomplished - this has been so much fun! |

I am trying to get back into the groove of things. Today was a really off day - glad I had the day off of work! Our flights last night got messed up badly in Atlanta and we ended up getting home around 4 in the morning. So, needless to say, we slept a good part of the day away.
I did manage to get in strength workout and a swim with PUSH IT points for 5 extra laps. I am struggling with the water - 30 oz. to go at 7:45 pm. I can get it down, I'll just have to pee all night.
So, one of my goals was to get a bathing suit for swimming. I have a few tankinis, but mostly 2 pieces that aren't swimming friendly. Well,I was digging around today and found a one-piece swimsuit with my maiden name written in the back, which means I once took it to summer camp (13, 14 years old??). Anyway, put it on, and it fit! It's not so stylish, but who cares!
Also, there is a good possibility that when I challenge weight out that I will weigh more then when I started. Yikes! Hope that isn't negative points! |

So far so good this week. Monday I worked out on a bowflex at my dad's. LOVED it!!! It was really neat to use something different. I think he was little impressed at how strong I was now too. :D
Just finished my strength training workout. And I think I'll do pilates tonight, so that'll be bonus points.
Have a great day everybody!!! |

| I didn't get my cardio in until late today and I found that almost intolerable! Gotta make sure I get it in earlier from now on. I went out and walked for 30 minutes with my poles (kids were on scooters) and came home to do a few minutes of jumping rope for a new exercise bonus. Grabbed a light dinner and went on my elliptical. Planned on just doing my usual 32 minutes but went to 40 minutes for a push it bonus. Then I did strength training for chest/back, abs, glutes and a stint in the sauna. I am so ready for bed! |

Crazy week here. I was bushed on Monday after getting back from the soccer tourney and we spend Tuesday getting dd ready to go visit her father. This morning we were up at 2am so we could make the airport (2 hour drive) by 6am for her flight. I'm not feeling well, thought it was nerves but ds is having stomach issues too so not sure. I did get out and walk tonight though so one cardio down. Here's the rest of my week's plan:
Thur - bike 15 miles, pilates
Fri - bike 10 miles, pilates
Sat - bike 30 miles
Sun - bike at least 5 to make my goal
Sat will include hills and take me at least 3 hours so it will go for strength as well as cardio. Most of the time I just call it cardio unless I do some big hills and push my speed more.
Take care everyone!

Thanks blu and need it gone - you guys are all keeping me accountable. I could easily have just said 'forget it' yesterday but I kept thinking that I have a team that I can't let down! It felt so good to have it over with though.
I hope you are feeling better soon luvmycritters. |

| Today I got on my elliptical and went for a solid 45 minutes straight instead of my standard 32 for a push it bonus. I had every intention of getting in a 2nd workout tonight but I think I need to take it a little easy today. I've pushed myself hard all week. So instead, I went into the back garden with my daughter and we took it in turns to jump rope for about 12 minutes - THAT got my heart rate up! 2nd push-it bonus for the day and I am done! Then I took the opportunity to cut the grass too. I may have taken in easier today but I haven't been lazy! I'm still on course to break 100 points this week so I am happy with that. |
