Thanks everyone!!! :D I"m doing a great job maintaining and have actually decided I wouldn't mind losing a little bit more, so we will see how that goes!
Nygirl,
I did cheat occassionally. But my cheats were always planned in advance, like a vacation or my b-day. I never just decided, oh well, I'm feeling like eating this instead today. If I ever had a craving for something else, I just ignored it. If I was in a long stall, like more than 3 months, which happened several times, I would go back to Phase 1. That always seemed to kick start things back in motion.
But, really, Red is right. Once you realize that this is a WOL, then the goal isn't quite as important, just more of a motivational factor. Now that I have reached my goal, I'm certainly happy, but it isn't like I'm done. I am continuing on SB.
In addition, I had other health benefits that kept me motivated in addition to the weight loss. My stomach didn't hurt anymore and my acne cleared up a lot, so those things also helped me to realize that SB was worth it even if I never lost another pound. :D
Good luck! |
