Hi gang!
Thanks Nims and Caffrey for posting early!!
~Caffrey let me know what the difference in points are and I will send them to A-Rod
I think I have the hang of this point tracking as well
So the weekend is over and I am glad for that.
I missed one of my goals. I had planned only one splurge and on Friday nite, after being particulary proud of myself for eating beachy in a Thai restaurant, someone had cake and they put a piece in front of me.
It looked so delicious...so I ate it, knowing I was not going to eat SB the following day! And yes...it tasted as good as it looked
Proud to say however, I was back on track Sunday and there was not a gain on the scale this Monday after a weekend of debauchery!
One of my goals for the week is to have a totally SB clean week--I really want to break into the 130S and maybe this will give my scale the push in the right direction!
I am going to try out an aerobics class today and see how I do.
How is everyone else doing?
Have a great day!

Otter, it's so hard when someone puts temptation literally in front of your face! So glad the scale was good to you this morning - that is always the best way to start the day!
I looked back over my journal and I have 2 'push it' bonuses to add for a total of 4 extra points: I walked with my poles for 75 minutes one day and I increased my time on the stair master to 45 minutes another day.
Today I did a whole hour on the stair master so there's my first 'push it' bonus for the week! Then I did weights for arms and shoulders. I added extra exercises and increased the weights on some too - another 'push it' bonus! YAY! I finished up with some ab work and then came home for a nice shower. I am determined to ROCK this week! |

Wow!
I am sore just hearing about your push its for the week.
I am back into my gym routine this week.
I had a great 40 minute cardio session and I did my first upper/lower body strength training as well--OUCH! I will be sore tomorrow!
I even did an ab blaster session that lasted about 10-15 minutes-so Monday has been a rockin start to the week!!
It is sooooo hot and humid here--drinking water will be very easy to do!
Hope everyone is having a great start to the week, and a gentle reminder to post your points if you haven't done so already.
We have results from :
Otter
Nims
Cafrey
BLU
BKRO9
Have a great rest of the day-I may sneak in another cardio session tonight!

| I'd like to join a challenge, but I'm not quite sure how it works... What/when can I join, and can anyone explain it to me? Thanks! |

I had a really weird exercise day today. My gym has 2 sections, the back and the front. The front is where the cardio machines are and it felt like the AC was off in there -- it was hot. So, I stayed in the back, strenght machines and the womens gym. I think the women's gym basically houses leftover, old or rejected equipment. It was tough to 45 minutes on the old machines but I know it was good becasue my body must be so used to my routines. I definatley mixed it up. I hope they get the AC fixed.
Speaking of hot, DH and I are headed to Memphis on Thursday. He has a one day business meeting and I tag along becasue he doesn't like flying by himself. That is why none of my goals this week are food related. I am going to enjoy the food that I can't get here.
Luckily, this is an exercise challenge and I think that I will get plenty of exercise walking around. Also, we are staying at a Westin and I was able to reserve a Westin Workout Room. They have pilates mats and videos and a spinning bike w/ videos and exercise ball all in the room. And there is a nice lap pool in the hotel. I am going to try to swim more, esp. this summer, so this seems like a great time to start.
I am also lowering my water goal to 75 oz. when I am away. I think 100 is going to be tough on the road.
Glad to hear everyone is doing so well!! |

Went out with my walking poles today for a little over 90 minutes! Felt so good - my legs are quivering now though. That's another additional 5 points for this week. While I was walking, I decided to strive to get over 100 points this week - we shall see!
WTG blu for booking a workout room! Sometimes all it takes is a little foresight and planning. I hope it's a great trip! |

Morning y'all!!!
Got my ab workout done, and did a 40min cardio dvd. I'm ready to start the day now!!! Taking youngest DS out for his birthday tonight with family, and it's an italian place, but I'll be getting grilled salmon and veggies, and serving b-day cake instead of eating it, lol. (I'm not a cake fan so it won't be a problem for me....long as it isn't cheesecake, lol)
Have a great day everybody! |

Good morning everyone! You guys are doing so great I am re-motivated!!
Yesterday really sucked life-wise, not beach wise but today's a new day. I'm going to get out on the bike this morning since it's supposed to get hot today. I still haven't checked out the local gyms, just doing stuff from home. Maybe I'll have a chance to do that this week.
Have a great day everyone!

Hi everyone!
Yesterday I got in 2 cardios and 1 strength so I am feeling good about that. Unfortunately I am up now another lb so 4 lbs total just this week.
My eating has been a little off--but I had planned for that last weekend..maybe all the extra exercise and not enough water is throwing things off?
I try not to let the scale get me down but being up 4 in a week has me a bit nervous!
Today I am going to refocus my eating and drink more water and use less salt--I am a "salter"
I am going to do do another cardio and strength session as well. Today is aerobics, as well.
Glad our team is doing great and hope everyone has a great day!
Luvmycritters~ Glad you are re-motivated and hope today is a better day!
Take care

Just checking in...So far this week I did a 45 minute bike ride Monday (plus new exercise bonus points) and today I did 20 minutes of strength, 30 minutes on elliptical, plus I get push it points because I ran a mile after that without stopping (10 minutes). So, as of Wednesday (today), I have 6 water points, 10 cardio points, 5 strength points, and 4 bonus points (total: 25).
I've been really struggling with motivation to be beachy lately. too. Exercise isn't a problem for me, but I haven't been eating well recently. The good news is that I'm on my way to making my goal of eating beachy 5/7 days. Just need to stay motivated! |

I'm sure the scale will move down again soon, Otter - just keep going forward! It jumped up 2lbs for me too this week (TOM) but was back down to 140lbs this morning. We'll crack into the 130s real soon!
SarBear, have you been active on the boards lately (sorry, I'm not here as much as I'd like!)? I find that really helpful in keeping me motivated to eat well. I also like to read fitness/weight loss magazines as they help me too. It's always hard for me right before my TOM too. I hope it gets easier soon!
I dusted off my Tae-Bo DVD this morning - long time, no do! It kicked my butt! My back was twinging throughout it though so I think I need to layoff that form of exercise. Anyway, it means I got in my cardio plus a bonus for a new type of exercise AND I earned a push it bonus for doing 4 sets of push ups instead of 2. I also got in a sauna so I just need to do that once more this week to reach that goal.
Feeling good! Hope everyone else is too! |

Hi everyone!
Done with my exercise today did a cardio and a upper lower strength session, so I have met the minimum requirements--now we are working for bonus.
Caffrey~ I know it will come off but it was frustrating to be up on Tuesday and even higher on Wednesday. I was soooooo close to the 130s now I am pretty far away--like light years now
I am drinking water like a fiend today!!
Not sure where we are at in placement--we were a distant 2nd last week--there are some serious overacheivers on Rommel's team
It's all good--I am just glad to have a team with great members to be on!
Take care

| I tell ya what my weight is doing (and the good thing is I know it's doing it so it doesn't upset me). I weigh every morning. And my weight swings back and forth like a weight on a string. It might be 126 one morning, and 128 the next. Then 126 the third, and 125 the fourth, then 127 for a couple days, then 124, then 126 again, then 123. LOL Not that fast of course. But it thrills me when I see a new "low number" because even though I know it'll go back up (and it always does) it eventually goes back down. Keeps me focused. I think I've decided 120 would be my "goal", if I am gonna have an actual number. But I don't expect to get there any time soon. I'm hovering around 124-125 right now. (I would add the .4 or .6 to those numbers but I don't want y'all to think I'm anal about it. LOL I do love my scale though! |

Oh to be in the 120s Krismiss! I can't even think about that just yet! It seems too far away! It gets harder as you get lighter though, doesn't it?
What about staying off the scale for a few days Otter? I know it's hard but it might be worth it. Here's betting those 4lbs are gone this time next week! |
