"It gets harder as you get lighter though, doesn't it?"

Definitely. That's why I'm trying to feel "content" with where I am now. It may be I won't go any lower than I am, and if so that's okay. There's some fluffy parts that I would like to thin out, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if I could maintain 125 I guess.

Hi everyone!

I had to shake up my schedule a bit today--so my cardio is done.

I am up to 6 cardio and 3 strength and 2 push it bonus for ab blasters! Water is going well--no alcohol (yet) and I am SB friendly already 4 days--we'll see what the weekend throws at me...Yay me!!

And yes, I confess, I stepped on the scale and fortunately it was down 3 lbs so the net gain for the week is about 1-1.5.

Krissmiss~ I really liked your last post. In the past I have never been satisfied until I got to my "ideal goal weight"

I like my appearance now. I love that I can wear any size 8 and most size 6, even though I am 15 pounds higher than my goal. I need to keep in mind how hard I have worked and how far I have come. This is a good managable weight for me to maintain and that's ok if the weight comes off slowly. The bonus is it only gets better, not worse if I keep losing!

Hope everyone is well!

Waves to Deb (Needs it gone) Hope the Dells was fun!

Take care

How is everyone doing?

OK, I did push ups last night (10 of them, slowly....I can't do them fast, but I can do them slow) and did 20 minutes of "stepping". (A girl at work mentioned her friend's butt got big cause she stepped up and down all the time on her stairs working her legs....so I'm tryin' it cause my butt is flat now, lol. I have literally "worked my butt off" and I need to get it back!!!!) So, would that be 4 bonus points?

Also, last week I didn't think I had any bonuses, but since I do weight training every other day, I should have counted the extra points, dangit! I won't miss them this week, promise!!

Oh, and I also bought a new dvd this morning, 10 Minute Solutions Pilates. I'm gonna do at least a couple segments tonight, so I'll figure up those points too.

(I feel really bad cause I'm not helping the team out more!)

Things are going better. This weekend is going to be crazy though with a soccer tournament. On Tuesday I rode 15 miles (about 1:45, I'm slow and on a mountain bike) and yesterday I did 12 which took me 1:30 so extra points for those! I'm planning on 8-10 today and 15 again tomorrow morning so I'll have my 50 miles in.

I should be able to get some more cardio in this weekend at the tourney and hopefully the hotel has a gym so I can do some strength and get "new exercise" points. Eating beachy and the scale is showing. :) The challenge will be to eat well over the weekend. One of my goals is 5/7 beachy days but I'd love to get 6 or even 7. It would be a huge accomplishment with all the restaurant eating we'll be doing. On that note we do plan to go to a seafood buffet that is supposed to be fabulous! I can't wait to dive into all that fresh seafood (we'll be in Vancouver Washington)!!!

Take care and I'll check in again before I leave.

Lora: Great work on the bike!! I went bike riding for the first time on Monday, and it was really fun, even though my bike was rusty, the gears wouldn't shift, and the breaks were very iffy! I want to get a new one, I think. It seemed like really great exercise for my legs plus it was so nice with the breeze. Keep up the good work.

Seems like everyone is doing pretty good this week - YAY! I had a good day. I did 2 cardio sessions of just over 30 minutes each on the elliptical. I did ALL of it using only a reverse motion to hit my legs harder so that's one push it bonus. I also went nuts on my water intake for another push it bonus - I drank 2 GALLONS. I don't care if I never see another bottle of water.......or a toilet for that matter  .

Last night, I got down on the floor with DH and knocked out an AWESOME ab workout - much tougher than what I have been doing. Boy could I feel it this morning! So that's another push-it bonus. Here's hoping we kick butt this week!

HEy teammies!!!

We had a ball in the Dells! I was able to do things I have never done there before. We rode the famous Ducks!! What fun! Then we went on the Upper Dells boat tour also. Absolutely beautiful scenery!! I took a ton of pictures and came home with a nasty sunburn.

Maddy did well in her competition! She recieved two silvers, one in her duet with her Cousin and one inthe trio she was in. Her teacher felt they deserved much higher but she was happy with her two trophies. Then she and Michael competed in the Daddy Daughter category and they recieved a platinum. But it didn't mean too much since they gave a platinum to every Daddy Daughter performance. But they were thrilled. :)

My nasty sunburn led to a nsty rash/hives after I put some scented lotion on at my Mom's on Father's Day. It is finally startinf to clear up. I wanted to scratch my skin off. I took BEnedryl so I could sleep and slathered myself in Benedryl cream. Man I was a sight. LOL

I have made it through Day four of my recommitment to SB. :) I started over with Phase one and am so glad I did. I had really bad cravings and could not leave the bad stuff alone. I knew deep inside this is what I needed to do I just needed to give myself the push. So I already feel better and have absolutely zero cravings!! PLUS!! I am back to being down 40 POUNDS!!! Woo HOO!!! It feels so good and I know I can get almost an additional 30 off by the wedding if I stick to my guns which I will. :) I cannot wait to see people I haven't seen in a while when they see me. Thankfully my dress laces up the back so I can pull it tighter, but I am sure it sill need to be taken in. Damn that is hard to swallow! LOL

I hve a really long way to go yet and I have to remembr that I did not get this way overnight and I am not going to lose it overnight either. But it gets really hard to tell myself that sometimes. But I know I will never never never go back and see 300 pounds on the scale ever again. NEVER!! So slowly but surely I will get to ONEderland. That one i a number I haven't seen since high school.

What a great post 'need it gone'! You have such a healthy attitude and WTG on dropping 40lbs. I am sure you will be a STUNNING bride! Hope the sunburn/hives sorts itself out completely soon. Speaking as a blue-skinned Brit, you have my full sympathy!

I have some wonderful news of my own today - my scale read 139lbs!!! Oh happy day!!!!!!!!

need it gone

Thanks gals!!

Sunburn/hives are almost gone!! :) Now I can get back to intense exercise. I had to tone it down with the hives, if I got hot and sweaty it would get worse.

Way to hit a new set of numbers Caffrey!! I love seeing new numbers on the scale but new clothing sizes are nice too!!

Could I ask you guys to keep my Mom in your thoughts today? I am on my way out the door to the hospital. She needs to have her pacemaker replaced, which doesn't worry me, but then she also needs cadiac ablasion (SP?) They have to go into her heart and kill off a part that is misfiring and it scares me to death. I will post later and let you all know how she is doing.

Hi Deb!

What a great trip you had. We didn't do the ducks, but we went to Noah's Ark and that was a blast.

What is the wedding count down? I bet you are so excited!!

I didn't get to do cardo and strength-only cardio but this is all for bonus points!

We are going to Philadelphia tomorrow to see the liberty bell. I may have to miss a 7/7 beachy week, if there is a chance to eat a Philli cheese steak--they are yummy!

I did get 2 of my goals for the week: No alcohol till the weekend-that is 5 hours away and go to an aerobics class. We'll see if I can resist the cheesesteak temptation....

Sounds like every is getting more intense in the work outs and that is FANTASTIC!!

Well I hope you all have a great weekend and looking forward to doing our last week together!

Take care

I just did my 2.2 mile jog with big hills. It was so nice because it lightly misted the entire time and it was exactly 70 degrees, which is crazy rare. I did the entire thing in 26 minutes, which is a good time for me (I'm awful with hills- I always end up walking). It was actually pretty relaxing.

I did 2 x 32 minute cardio sessions on my elliptical today and a strength workout for chest and back. Feeling good!

Sorry this is a direct copy from my journal - I'm low on time tonight!

Today was a good workout day. I did 2 cardio sessions of 32 minutes each on the elliptical. The first one, I incorporated 5 intervals too! Then I did strength training for my lower body and some ab work as well. All this was extra as Saturday is normally a day off. I'm definitely taking Sunday off as my back is still twinging from the Tae-Bo I did earlier in the week.
