I keep getting shut out of the site

OK. I posted this same issue a few days ago but perhaps it didn't sound urgent enough. Now it is becoming urgent, because what had only happened twice in a month is now happening about 50% of the time I try to log on.

I get an error which reads "Server (for the southbeach site) not found." I can still access all other sites so it is not my computer or my own server, as far as I can tell. Every time this has happened, I have continued to get the same error message for at least 24-48 hours.

We have 3 different computers at home and they all say the same thing.

I am using Safari as my web browser. EI no longer supports Macs.

It's getting to the point that I'm feeling like I need to perhaps find another site to chat and journal on, as I want to be able to check in every day. If anyone has any ideas about why this might be happening, please pm me, or better yet email me at macrina440@mac.com, since I can't access the pm messages either while it is down.

Since the forum is run and administered remotely, likely from SE Asia, it is really difficult to say what the problem might be. While I haven't had any problems getting in, it has been incredibly slow and I haven't bothered to try and get in very much myself. Today seems better than the last few though. So perhaps whatever was causing it has been at least partially remedied. We are all kind of in the same boat as the forum owner does not tend to be a particularly active participant here anymore. It does seem like we go through these periods from time to time and then it will get better until the next episode. Can't offer you much other info or guidance than that.
