Just passing through - what a busy week I'm having... BUT I am NOT letting my team down - requirements are on track and eating is super beachy - back to my fighting weight of 167!

Looks like everyone is busy but fitting in some great efforts! GO TEAM!

I had a great walk yesterday, I did 16 laps, which I think is a little over two miles (it's a small track), and I really pushed myself around and went a little faster than I normally do.

ljmusicmom~ Your kickball game sounds like it was so much fun! My 7 yo is into kickball right now and I played with him in our backyard the other day. When there's only 3 of us (my 4 yo wanted in too) you better believe I did a lot of running around. I think I counted it as a cardio session.

pwreath~ Sorry about your bad food day. We all have those. Good for you for picking yourself up and starting clean the next day.

Searay, Salmonlady, and Coastalmom~ You guys all sound lik you are doing so great despite your busy lives! I'm proud of you for all your cardio and water!

Valkm~ Way to go on two cardios in one day! I haven't been able to do that myself yet. Hope you enjoy your weekend!

Here we are at the weekend. I hope you all all enjoy yourselves and are able to do the things you want. I hope to get out to our local farmer's market tomorrow morning and pick up some good produce.

Hi there, Meetoos. I had another good day yesterday. Finished week 7 of C25k which means I met goal #1!

Also, I'll be on a retreat from tomorrow (Sunday) until next Thursday. I'm not sure when I'll be able to post my points as I'm not sure what my internet access will be. Meemoo, should I post them Sunday morning before I leave and assume the few points I plan to earn or just wait?

I'm nervous about how I'll be able to eat and exercise while I'm gone since I won't have control over the food or my time. I plan to bring my flexbands with me so that I can do strength training, my running shoes so that I can continue jogging, and South Beach snacks so that I can make sure I have a store of healthier, lo cal snacks around.

pwreath~ Go ahead and tally your points Sunday morning before you leave. I'm sure you know what you'll do and that way you'll have to do what you've already assumed you will. Good luck on your retreat next week! I hope you have a great time!

Hi everyone! Just checking in....sorry I haven't been posting this week, I've been busy preparing for vacation (and it also may have something to do with how slow the boards have been this past week!)

Anyway, I'm on track again and racking up some points for the team! Have a few extra cardio sessions under my belt and am going to bust my butt for the next 2 days. Hope everyone is having a good week!

Hey Meetoos!

Hope you are all having a great weekend. I am happy to report that I am. I went for a 30 min walk this morning and I'm about to go out kayaking....

Berkeleybabe, hope you have a great vacation..where are you heading?

Good luck p_wreath on the travel. I will be traveling for work the following week and share your anxiety. Good luck, you can do it

Keep the faith!

Hi, teammates!

Good week thus far ... scale's moving down in spite of TOM, I've been getting in extra cardio here and there, and I've actually managed 2/3 goals - had to let go of the 3rd, don't know why I was thinking I could manage it every day of the last week of school! Ah, well, should have plenty of points elsewhere to make up for it.

You all sound like you're working hard - can't wait to see how we did! Keep on with the hard work - it'll pay off hugely.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Okay, that's Meetoo. Here are my results for week 2:

Cardio 4/4=20 points
Strength 2/2= 10 points
Water 7/7= 14 points
Goals met 2/3=10 points

Bonus points
Additional cardio= 5 points
New form of exercise (new DVD)= 2 points
Push it (new jogging route w/hills)= 2 points

Total points: 63

Week 3 goals
1. Complete week 8 of C25k
2. Do my best to eat cleanly and moderately while away this week
3. Give myself some well-earned relaxation time when I get back (this may sound easy to some of you but this has been sorely lacking from my life for a long time and I think being well-balanced is an important part of being healthy).

I had a BAD exercise week - I'm sorry to let you guys down!!! I worked from 8-5 then taught VBS for 5 nights from 6-9 (20 4 & 5-yr-olds). I was too pooped to do any working out. I'll try to do better this week! :(

Cardio 1/4 = 5 points
Strength 0/2 = 0 points
Water 7/7= 14 points
Goals met 1/3 = 5 points
