Here is our Week 2 Team Chat Thread. All but one team member has posted their points, so I won't ask that you do it again here. But for my own curious mind I'll give you the breakdown:

berkeleybabe 70
coastal_mom 64
ljmusicmom 84
meemoo 55
p_wreath 68
salmonlady 59
searay 57
valkm 70
*vickil 60

Team total: 587

Way to go Team!! So our 3 highest that I will post in the results thread are: ljmusicmom, berkeleybabe, and valkm. Congratulations you three!! I guess I need to "keep up with the Joneses" seeing as I had the lowest score (but I warned you that there would be no bonuses for me last week!)

Good luck to you all this week!

Hey, team! Great start for week one! Only three more to go ... let's really see where we can succeed this week.

In looking over how the points are set up, it looks like you can get the maximum points if you can manage to break your workout time into two 30-minute (or more) sessions a day. I realize that's hard to do ... I usually do one workout, first thing in the morning, and that's it for the day in my crazy-busy life. However, in the effort to get more points, I'm going to try to mix it up - for example, yesterday, I did yoga at lunchtime for 35 minutes and then did a long bike ride (40 minutes) at night with my son. Because the extra cardio counts as another 5 points, if I can do this every day, I can get 70 points just for cardio for the week! Even doing this for 2 or 3 days will add on some major points. You could also score 10 points for the day if you did one 90-minute workout instead of the two shorter ones (5 for the workout, 5 for 90+ minutes).

I'm really not all that competetive - I joined this challenge for ME, to see how much I could push myself in the fitness department. Even if we're dead last points-wise, we'll still have made great progress in healthy living. Still, I just thought I'd throw this on here as food for thought!

Best of luck, everyone - we CAN do this!

Yay Movin Meetoos! We are doing great! I don't know about you guys, but there have been many times when I wanted to be an exercise slacker, but wasn't because I knew that it would make a difference for the challenge :) We are all doing great! Let's smoke those other teams this week! Everyone keep up the great work.

Yeah Team!

I can't believe how great we're doing!

This definitely helps me. Even tho I couldn't get in those extra exercise sessions last week due to social engagements, I did definitely do things I would have sloughed off had I not been "competing"

This week I have none of those things, so I'm rarin' to go and already got in a 30 min walk this morning plus I have my regularly scheduled water aerobics class this afternoon.....

We ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes this is a great challenge, it makes you think
of when you are going to fit in exercise, not if.

Today: 30 mins. cardio regular intensity.

Water (have not had problems with this since
I started the few sips at a time all day and
evening - it just was not working to try one
cup at a time).

Hey team! Congrats to those with the high scores! and to everyone of you for succeeding in your own way.

I didn't post my 3 goals for this week:

1. Eat SB for 5 of 7 days (at least 95% perfect).
2. Track calories for two days this week to see where I'm at.
3. Prepare a recipe to have for lunches.

I have a busy work week - hope for bonuses but getting the requirements in is top priority!

Despite being awakened at 4:15 by a crash of thunder, I fought the impulse to turn my alarm off and made it to my 6 am weight class.....

...and now I'm going to my water aerobics...and tomorrow I will try a new (for me) exercise, a spinning class.

I am determined.

We are the best team. I keep hoping the results page from all the teams will go up so we can confirm our greatness.

Finally sitting down for a few minutes to play catch up. My 7 yo has baseball practice every morning this week and I've been walking with my kids up to the school earlier and walking around the little walking track while they play on the playground. It's the perfect situation for me to get my cardio in and for them to get some outside time aside from our own backyard. They love it and so do I! Now I just need to get that strength training in!

As one of my goals this week I've been tracking my nutritional info on BabyFit.com (Sparkpeople for pregnant people). I basically wanted to see where I was coming in on my caloric intake. It's so interesting to find out how many calories are in the few cinnamon bears I just ate (260) as opposed to entire cucumber and ranch dip (174). Guess what I'll be choosing more often?

I am so glad that everyone is so chatty. It makes it feel like such an active team and I am grateful for the support. We made it to hump day, let's stay strong through the rest of the week! GO MOVIN' MEETOS!!

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't checked in yet. I'm finishing up the quarter and am swimming in finishing papers, grading etc...

I did not have a good day food-wise yesterday , but I'm back on track today and will do my cardio later this evening when it cools down.

Congrats to all of you who are doing so well. You inspire me!!

Hello, Meetoos! Great day today ... was not teaching so as to work on report cards (I have to do all classes in two schools), but ditched it to join in the annual teachers/staff vs. 5th graders kickball game at my one building. It was so much fun! And I kicked some serious butt ... made several catches of fly balls, tagged some kids out, even made a double play all by myself. AND I took a ball to the head! You'd better believe I earned those 2 "push-it" points!

Walked my dog earlier about 2.5 miles up and down hills at a decent clip, so that was 40 minutes of cardio. Going to do something else shortly to get that 5 point bonus!

You all sound like you're doing a great job - keep it up! Make sure to drink your water, too ... it's HOT out there!

Hey Meetoos!!!

We are doing great!

I am down a bunch of weight since I started this challenge and I have been really stepping up the exercise, and of course minding my eating. So I thank you all for participating, and Meemoo for leading.

Have a great day,

Salmon
