Great job last week everyone!

I forgot to post my goals for this week...been busy due to a death in the family, but haven't strayed and have been working out.

Goals

1- Allow treat only one day this weekend (this will be a meal and dessert b/c it's my b-day and DH is taking me out for dinner, something we haven't done just the two of us since baby was born)
2- Try a new recipe, one of the pizza ones
3- No eating after 8 p.m. (I wish this could be earlier, but we sometimes don't eat dinner until after baby is in bed)

WTG team! 561 points on week 1! And, I'm sure we're only going to get better. :D

How has everyone been with week 2? Exercise, for me, has been awesome. I went rollerblading for 60 minutes and felt like, if it weren't for the blisters forming, I could have powered through for the 90 minute bonus. I opted to stop figuring out that I have several weeks left to build up to exercising that long. Maybe tomorrow on my bike ride...

Something about summertime and warm weather makes it feel easeir to eat light and healthy (That is, if you can avoid the ice cream... ).

Anyhow, this thread has been somewhat quiet, so I'm hoping it's because everyone is outside, exercising, and enjoying the weather.

Go team go!

I have been spending a lot of time outdoors with my girls. It's wrap-up time for my daughter's school year (she doesn't end school until June 29th), so I've been busy with lots and lots of school activities.

I've been on track this week with my goals, my exercise, etc. Week 2 has flown by!

I ended up weighing myself after week 1 and I was shocked. My weight does fluctuate a bunch normally but this was insane. I started at 165 and I was in the 150's......... I will not weigh myself again until the end of the challenge. I do not want to get disappointed if I'm up a bit.

Nice to see that everyone's doing so great! ! ! !

hey team! hope everyone is doing well and wrapping up the week strong!

i've been on track with my workouts and water - need to get my strength training done this weekend! harder to do since i'm running outdoors and never at the gym.

i'm down about 1.5 from the start of the challenge - not bad.

So, I think I earned major points today. :D

I went on a bike ride, I'd planned on 90 minutes but it ended up being 105. I haven't ridden a bike (a real one, outdoors) in over 4 years, maybe longer.

Sooooo....

I get:
5points for cardio
5points for over 90 minutes
2points for new exercise
2PUSH IT points for bike sprints, going past my planned 90 minutes, etc.

14 points JUST for my workout.
That doesn't count getting my water in (+2) and drinking an extra liter of water and therefore making my extra water goal for the week (+5).

21 points in 1 day?! I hope I'm calculating this right and counting what I'm allowed to count. (Please say yes)

Anyhow. Just excited and wanted to share. hmmmm.... maybe I can convince my BF to go for a 30 minute walk this evening...

And, adding on to the weight loss part of the convo, as of last monday, I'd gained half a pound, but I think that was a fluke because of high sodium last sunday. I'm waiting until monday morning to offically weigh myself. (Hoping this'll force me to behave over the weekend).

Hi all!
Sounds like some good things going on here! I've been pretty good about all this week. Still need to get some workouts in this weekend, but good. I even walked 3 days out of 5 on my lunch hour and will probably call that a push it bonus. The walks are like 25 minutes so I can't count them as extra cardio, but I think the are work something! My food has been good, I've had one cheat/treat meal each week, which was Mexican and yes a big treat, but the rest of the week clean, and yet my weight (even with the extra exercise) has gone no where!! I'm finding it kind of frustrating...ok no really frustrating. But I'm trying really hard to stay the course and evaluate what might be the issue. I cut out nuts this week, next week I'm thinking I might see if Dairy is playing an issue. I do tend to eat a lot of dairy, has anyone experienced a problem not loosing because of dairy? I've seen a lot of things about either dairy or wheat causing you to stall. Any input? Or do you think the mexican food is enough to keep me from losing even 1/2 lb?
