I just had my regular checkup, including a cholesterol test. I'm lucky in that I've always had pretty good cholesterol, so I was curious as to how SBD would affect it. Three years ago, my numbers were (with normal values in parentheses):
Total: 188 (<200)
Triglycerides: 52 (<150)
HDL: 78 (>40)
LDL: 100 (<100)
So the LDL was borderline, but everything else was great. Still, after a year on SBD, it's ALL better:
Total: 175
Triglycerides: 44
HDL: 86
LDL: 80
My LDL dropped 20 points - woo-hoo!

| Wow-- amazing ratio of HDL to LDL and HDL to triglycerides!!! Those are key pointers to heart health, and you've got great numbers there! |
