LOVE IT!

[for those of you who aren't hip, they used that in a coke commercial this past year ... young bald guy in red sneakers dancing on the bed in his penthouse apartment?]

I am so old and unhip i've never even seen the commercial.

I believe I may be even older and more un-hip than you...or maybe it's just because I only watch 3 television shows a week and 2 of them are on Sci-Fi?

I do love Casting Crowns! And you named two more of my favorite songs by them. My other favorite is "If we are the body." I need to put that one on my MP3.

I remembered two others that I should have mentioned as well - Thankful by Caedmon's Call and I've Always Loved You by Third Day.

I must be too un-hip to have seen that commercial, too.

Another one that really gets me going is Flood by Jars of Clay. Also Get Down by Audio Adrenaline.

I love the song MILKSHAKE. It is at the end of Dodgeball and makes me smile everytime it comes on.

I ditto the Casting Crowns recommendations. I used to run like hell (no pun intended) to Creed's My Sacrifice.

Those are great suggestions, Paula and Carrye! I'm going to check them out.

I remember the song Milkshake. Too funny! I also like Averil Lavigne's Girlfriend. My sd and her friends like to blare that, and although it's mean-spirited, it has a catchy tune.

My ipod nano is what I usually use to exercise with and I keep it on shuffle play, but most of the songs on there are fast-paced hip hop and reggeaton songs - mostly Daddy Yankee (I'm 100% Latina) and those usually keep me pumped enough to do my 45/1 hour of circuit training that I do 3 - 4 times a week. I'm currently back on Phase 1 since I went on a cruise and totally indulged on their buffet and desserts and then my grandmother visited and she would not understand why I'm not eating her food and b/c she's 86 I felt like this might be the last time to have grandma's cooking.

Anyway, any kind of music that makes me want to shake my bon bon will hopefully allow me to lose inches in my bon bon!
