Well, let me be honest, i have never been strict follower of P2 in the last 6 months due to personal and emotional situations.
I used to go to gym though atleast 4 times in the week.
So I went down to 111 lbs , then in feb end went upto 116 lbs and then went down to 114 lbs, but when i went back to 111 lbs and ate non SBD foods , now came back from florida vacation eating all non sbd foods and now am a whopping 114 lbs.
Is this bad for health? Should i strict p2 for a week with one fruit and one grain and shoot up the workout at gym for 6 times?
Does this cause any harm to my health , coz am doing strict P2 every now and then with one grain whenever i gain weight eating non SBD foods?
Please help , is this a huge YO YO in 6 months or just slight elevation ?
suggest me ways to stay motivated please? |

it's completely normal. most people gain about 2-7 pounds over the course of the day.
when you say 'whopping', it seems like you are obsessed. you need to not let this take over your life. |

Raj - A variation of a few pounds is not considered a yo-yo. Its typical to see the type of weight variation you're describing in anybody - especially after returning from a vacation (or even in the course of a day as A-rod said). Its usually just water weight and when you return to your standard way of eating, it will drop off - just like you've seen.
When people talk about yo-yo dieting, they're typically talking about much larger fluctuations - weight changes of 30, 40, 50+ pounds.
Also, there's no harm getting strict w/ your phase 2 for a couple days as long as you're getting enough to eat and proper nutrition. You may not even have to do that - just returning to a healthy standard phase 2 should be all you need. Plus, its easier to stick to and not feel deprived on a standard phase 2. |
