Any thoughts on a team name???
In these weekly team posts, everyone should be posting their WEEKLY GOALS. You don't have to post an exercise schedule if you don't want to, you just have to get your cardio and water requirements in throughout the week. You do have to post goals for the week, though. In the week two team post, everyone will post their RESULTS [I'll have a template for that] plus their goals for the following week.
These weekly chats will also be your team's forum to cheer each other on, talk about your progress and plans, etc. I hope it will be motivational!

each week, your team leader will post a new thread just like this one for you to post your results from the previous week and your goals for the coming week. you'll post that on mondays. from there, you can also use the weekly team chats to encourage and support each other.
this week and next week, you'll just post goals in here because you don't have any results yet! after week one is over, the week two post will have a template for you to use in reporting your results, and you'll also list your goals for the coming week. you'll do all your posting in the weekly TEAM threads, and your team leaders will update a stickied results thread for the entire challenge with their entire team's score and individual scores for their team members. |

I am going to go ahead and post my goals here so I wont procrastinate :lol:
Week of June 4-11 GOALS:
1. add a little running to two days of walking regime ( I am wanting to start running some anyhow) cause I need to work on legs so this will be start
2. do my toning and strength exercises in the morning.
3. go rollerblading to change up exercise a little. |

hey coastal_mom! incase you haven't seen it, there's a "couch to 5K" program that is really excellent for beginning runners. if you're already walking, you're partway there. people here have LOVED that program.
rollerblading is also an EXCELLENT exercise - really gets you toned and burns a lot of calories! |

Hi everyone,
I'm here and looking forward to this new challenge. I'll edit this post later with my goals.
BTW Coastal Mom, I'm in the middle of the Couch to 5k program (week 5) and it's really great. I highly recommend it.
Goals for week 1
1. Eat beachy 5 days and almost beachy 2 days
2. Finish week 6 of C25k
3. Do 200 minutes of cardio |

HI TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm just checking in...Here are my goals for the week:
1. Actually get up the courage to enter the "weight room" at the gym for at least one session of weight training...instead of just doing it in the safety of my living room
2. Only 2 glasses of wine, should i coose to drink at all!!!! (this is huge for me, i usually over-do it on the wine)
3. Stay within calorie range for eating for 5 days in a row!
Looking forward to this challenge! I'll see you all on monday! |
