Hi everyone
We just got back from an amusement part (Sesame Place) with the kids and I stayed beachy all day

Tonight is DH's birthday celebration and we are going out alone so it will probably not be beachy

Just wanted to check in and say hello!

I did 10 push ups last night, the same tonight and I hit the sauna too. So without further ado, here's my report for the week:

Week of June 4-10:

REQUIREMENTS:
Cardio: 5 workouts @ 5 points each = 20 points total + 5 bonus points
Strength: 2 workouts @ 5 points each = 10 points
Water: 7/7 days @ 2 points each = 14 points total
Goals: Met 3/3 goals @ 5 points each = 15 points total
TOTAL REQUIREMENT & BONUS POINTS: 64 POINTS


Week OF JUNE 11-17 GOALS:
1. Eat clean 6/7 days
2. Go in the sauna twice.
3. Do at least 10 push ups every day.

I hope I did this right!

Looks like I am going to finish week 1 pretty well. I need to do my arm exercises today and then I should be done. I missed one day of my water, but other then that, I did everything.

The heat is really making exercise tough. It is really hot in my office, which makes me sleepy and not want to go to the gym after work. Then once I do get there, it is hot in the gym and tough to bump it up a notch. I though about getting up in the am and exercising, but I never seem to get good workouts in the am.

I think that I am going to keep my week 2 goas the same as my week one goals. They seemed to work for me.

Today I did 45 minutes on the elliptical and weights for biceps/triceps all followed with some ab work. I also took my kids out for a short leisurely bike ride - although we all broke a sweat! That was another 30 minutes of light exercise.

Hi everyone
Sorry I was AWOl this weekend--we went to Sesame Place with the kids and DH's birthday was yesterday

I hope eveyone is staying strong--I realize my love of peanut butter is becoming unhealthy so a goal this week is to lay off peanut butter


Got busy over the last few days but if you want to cut and paste maybe we can go like this:
I am a bit confused on a goal that is cardio related--I will have to check with A-Rod and see what the real deal is--but it looks like I made 91 points for the week--sorry no pump it points for this lady.

This week is going to be hectic so I really have to manage my exercise goals this week

Hey Otter: Since you said you weren't sure if you added your points right, I double checked for you, and it looks like you should have 79 points from what you have written down. Unless I missed something, which is very possible!! ;)

OK I will double check--I am trying to get this stuff right--just having a hard time figuring how to count the goal work outs past the basic requirements
Basic:
4 cardio
2 strength
Water
3 goals

I did
6 cardio and 5 strength
I did a new exercise--which was also cardio at the same time

I drank my water every day

I completed 3 of my 4 goals (and then I realized I only needed to have 3 goals)
BUT
one of my goals was also tied to cardio (walking with DH-and we power walk more than 30 minutes)


I don't think you can "double dip"
I will PM A-Rod

Other Goals
1) Move more! No not just excersise. Get my butt away from the computer and clean, do errands, SOMETHING besides sit during the week. That's 5 days there. DONE! 5 points

2) Eat out only once during the week. We live in NY city so eating out is a part of life. Trying to cook home more, so only one order of brown rice sushi during the mon-fri time period. DONE! 5 points

3) No drinking during the week! No more stopping at bars for mid week happy hour! Friday/Saturday only for alcohol. DONE 5 points

Total points 68, hope it's right...lots of rules!
