Where I have a difficult time is that every workout I do, I push myself as far as I can; I don't leave anything behind. For example, every elliptical workout, I push the tension up for the last 10 minutes. If I find I could still do more after that 10 minutes, I increase the tension and do another 10, etc. But because I do this on a regular basis, I don't know if it merits bonus points.

Strength training, do as many reps of each exercise as I can, basically, I couldn't do another (insert exercise here) if someone offered me money.

Cardio- If I'm feeling particulary strong, I pop- in other words, I will add arms where there aren't any on the video, I'll jump instead of stepping, etc. I think you get what I mean. Even when I go for walks, I'll try to do the loop faster each time, I'll wear ankle weights, jog at times even though I am not supposed to run or jog (bad knees)

So, do I push myself every workout, hell yeah! Because to me if I don't push it, then what's the point. But to say that I do anything out of the ordinary in any one workout, no, so how do you include bonus there?

My personal opinion? If you're giving it everything you've got, you deserve the bonus points for the workout. I'm amazed that you can do that consistantly. Even back in the good workout days (makes me feel old saying that, even though "back in the days" was only 4-5 years ago), I'd have a day here or there where I just phoned it in... did the workout but didn't REALLY push myself to do as much as I could.

So if you've got the motivation and will power to give it your all every time, I say take the bonus proudly. You've earned it. :D
