Don't know any specifically. Would expect using yogasana to spot reduce would be as ineffective as using any other "ab only" program to spot reduce. You really can't target any particular area to lose fat. You can build core strength underneath it though. Things like plank, side plank, boat, cobra, locust, floor bow, etc. come to mind as possibilities.
You could try the yoga journal "poses" page here: http://www.yogajournal.com/poses/index.cfm?ctsrc=tnav and plug in "abdomen" for the anatomical focus and it comes up with a bunch of search results that might help provide some guidance. I'm not an instructor, but it would seem to me to be counter to basic yoga concepts to do a practice of only abdominal forward bending work though. Would seem to need some balance with backbends and overall body work as well.
If it's just lower abdominal work, I'd look into a stability ball and various exercise for that prop that are designed to work that area. I see a lot of accomplished yoginis that still have a "pooch" with an incredibly strong core. They are certainly not mutually exclusive. |
