yes...?
i mean there is no specific uplink port (at least not that i'm remembering now) but the router is just plugged into one of the ports.
but yeah, i mean from my understanding switches are just smart packet fowarders. so bascially it's just kinda hooking everything together right?
the VTC i know even less about. i know it works when i bypass the network entirely and hook it up directly into the cable modem. i need to program it with an IP so when it talks to the other end they can talk back.

| Looked over their docs and the only thing I could see about setting an IP was in their section on the PC lan card which unfortunately is a wireless card. First suggestion would be to contact their tech support and ask your question about setting an IP. Next suggestion would be to get a router that is compatible with video conferencing, believe D-link makes several of those type. |
