get a tall mirror (like the kind they sell in walmart/kmart) and watch yourself making sure your bent knees are at 90º angles (the front knee and the back knee). don't take too big of a step at first and just try focusing on getting the front knee in the 90º angle.
another thing you can do is do static lunges, where instead of stepping back into the upright position, just stay in the lunge position and raise your body up and down, making sure the front knee is in the 90º angle when your body is in the lowest position.
do all of this without weights, of course. then add light weights to intensify. |
