What do you think would be the best time to weigh in?

In the morning you don't have anything in your system, but you are bloated after sleep.

In the evening you have just spent an entire day eating and excercising.

What do you think would be the best time to weigh yourself?

i always weigh myself in the morning before i eat breakfast. it probably doesnt matter when you weigh yourself as long as everytime you weigh yourself its around that same time.

Doesn't really matter as long as you are consistent from weigh-in to weigh-in. you will typically weigh the least after you wake up though.

I read an interesting book called "thin for life" that compared that habits of diet "masters". Those who were successful in both losing weight and then maintaining their new healthy weight for over 2 years. One common trait was continual monitoring of their weight and correcting any trends away from their health weight relatively quickly. I don't think weighing is the problem. Just letting it rule your emotions on a day-to-day or week-to-week basis. If you can't do that, then don't weigh until you can. It can be a semi-useful tool though.
