I am wondering if anyone has used these and if so, would you recommend one for me. I am traveling next week and would like to do a work out in my hotel room (I will be out of the country).

these are a great form of resistance training and an excellent idea if you are travelling. might want to get a DVD to show you a lineup of exercises if you don't know how to use them.

Hi
I use both free weights and bands, and I've found that the best bands are the ones from Bally. I actually had to replace my bands recently (they do wear out) and Walmart had a three pack of the Bally bands (heavy, medium and light resistance) for 20$.
I do agree with A-Rod though, it's a good idea to take a familiar workout with you or pick up a DVD that will walk you through the workout. |

My daughter's swim team uses them. They're especially good when used for preventing and rehabilitating from shoulder injuries.

Thanks for the replies. One with a DVD would be good. I was also out on the Internet looking for exercises. I have used bands with Tae-bo, but I was thinking there are better bands for what I want to do than Billy's bands. I should be okay with a DVD or even a pamphlet.
