just wondering if anybody could give me some tips for losing the excess weight around the tops of my thighs, both on the inside and the outsie (saddle handles). My upper body is so small now, but this area is still flabby and it's driving me mad! I run, do yoga and swim and use the step master at the gym! So, I think maybe I need to do some exercises that target those muscles, but I just don't know which ones do! Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks,

| You can strengthen and tone that area with squats, deadlifts, lunges....but that won't burn fat in those areas...it's not possible to spot reduce...you need to continue to eat right and exercise and lower your body fat. |

In addition to the exercises oldpjams mentions, adduction and abduction exercises will help.

If you have access to a weight machine with a foot harness, you can do adduction and abduction exercises that way as well.
I've always been a pear, but I'm seeing a lot of improvement in the hips and thighs by starting (ever so slowly and carefully) to run. Also some (mostly) stationary cycling. |

lunges, lunges and more lunges!!!!! They are the death of me but they are sooo good for your legs and butt! Also wall sits- (kinda like squats) where you place ur back against a wall and sit so your legs are a 90 degree angle and hold yourself like that for 1 min at a time
You can't spot reduce so cardio is your best bet to get the fat off but you can tone it through exercise! good luck! |
