Any way to remove ticker address?

Thanks to all the helpful information in this forum, I was able to locate, create and include a ticker in my signature. I'm wondering if there's any way to get rid of the address that continues to show up just above my ticker. Well, I'm sure there's a way, but does anyone know how to do it?

When it's done right, I should be able to click on the ticker and it will take me to that address so I can update. I've made clickable images myself before, but it's been quite awhile and I just can't remember how I did it.
Seems like it might've used [a href=[url] http:// etc.etc.? Sound familiar to anyone?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The problem is with the way that particular site produces its code. It's bad code as delievered to you from their web page, but it is editable to work properly. Or you could use one of the other sites that produces code that actually works without editing! ;)

Anyway, the problem is that there are embedded spaces in the character string that appear at the end of the line breaks, so are "invisible" to you as you look at it. The best thing is to copy and paste it out to a text editor or word processor and get it onto a single line. Then you can see where the spaces or line breaks are and remove them and make it a continuous text string first, and then copy and paste it back into your signature.

The other thing you can do is to go into your signature block in your profile and go to the end of the text on each line and use the Delete button to back out the spaces/line breaks. The only problem with this is you need to watch the next line down because it won't actually bring the line of text up because it is word wrapping. So when the "h" in http disappears off the second line, you will need to type it back in and then move the next line. If you are reasonably comfortable with how the syntax should look, it works OK this way, but if you're not, I think the copy and paste method is a bit safer.

Or again, use a site like tickercentral or 3fatchicks that provides better code to begin with!

Thanks so much for your help. I'm gonna try to give it a fix simply because I like the ticker I've got, but if it's not a fairly easy fix, I'm off to 3 fat chicks!

Not really a genius. You only have to see all the ones that don't work here, and know the basic syntax, to realize the code as supplied doesn't work. Thanks for asking how to fix it and doing so. Most people don't even get that the text isn't really supposed to be there as long as the image shows up!
