Okay, I have a question. I need to know if anyone else has experienced this because of SBD or if it is not related to SBD at all.
To give you a little history, I have 2 herniated discs and arthritis in my lower back. For the past year or so (give or take a couple of months), prior to starting SBD, I started experiencing a pain (sometimes sharp, sometimes just a dull ache)just to right of my left shoulder blade that radiates upward to my neck and then causes my neck to hurt or feel stiff and sometimes the pain radiates down my left arm and also results in some numbness or tingling in my left arm.
Well for the past month or so, maybe longer (I am not good with dates), I have been experiencing pain in my feet and slight heaviness in my lower legs. To be more specific, if I am on my feet for an extended amount of time (like several hours) the bottom of my feet start to hurt. It feels like I have blisters on the bottom of my feet. Or it feels like it does when you walk barefoot on really hot concrete or asphalt. My right foot hurts to walk on after I get up from sitting and if my feet have been elevated (like in a recliner), when I get up, my right foot hurts so bad I can hardly walk on it. This pain is throughout the entire foot, not the "blister" feeling mentioned earlier.
I am wondering if the feet pain could be related to SBD or if it is possibly all related to my back or maybe it is something else totally unrelated to either.
I would appreciate any input. I know I need to make a Dr's appt and I will. I just kinda want to be prepared for what he might say.
Thanks everyone! :D |

I would say it is unrelated to your diet.

| Stop procrastinating and make that doctor's appointment. This is nothing to fool around with, you could be causing permanent nerve damage. |

I had peripheral neuropathy caused by B12 deficiency and your foot complaint sounds similar. Peripheral neuropathy can also be caused by diabetes. In any case it can be damaging and permanent if not diagnosed quickly.
There are probably hundreds of other things that could cause your symptoms so please go to the doctor right away. |

Thanks for the info Peony! I was reading about those things you mentioned on WebMD and thought it sounded similar to my symptons. I will make a Dr's appt soon. :D |
