Hi everyone,
My weekend saga....Well first off DD had a great time at her party. That was a success. Even as snack foods I put out triscuits and pita chips with spinach dips (for adults) and veggie platter. The only bad thing I ate on Saturday was cake and ice cream. Even after eating the cake it didn't taste as good as I remember. I order all the kids cakes from Giant and they are so good but since maybe my tastes have changed I didn't enjoy as I once did. I ate the whole piece of course. Once the party was over I was so happy. I was exhausted and like kathi said, I too get crazy with prep work beforehand. Everything has to be perfect and in its place. So once everyone left and everything was cleaned up I took a shower, got into my PJ's, came downstairs to find in laws, DH's brother and wife, stopped by wtih present for DD. Well I was so exhausted I didn't care I was in my PJ's and told them sorry but I was tired. They didn't care we see them all the time anyway.
Sunday morning I woke up around 7, and that DD's real birthday. My parents had spent the night so we all made a nice big breakfast for her. We gave her our presents. I went over board on breakfast- pancakes (only 2), and 2 biscuits with gravy. Well lunch rolled around and I had biscuits and gravy for lunch. Dinner came and I had 2 slices of veggie pizza and salad. I was picking at the cake throughout the day which we ended up throwing out so as you can see it was a weekend of debauchery for me. I really don't feel guilty... it happens and now I am back on track.
Well back on track tomorrow. THis morning has been awful. My stomach and digestive tract is paying the price. Functionwise I have to do serious damage control. I had scrambled eggs this morning and my stomach was killing me. So I don't think I can eat anything today I will just push the water. I deserve it. My body is totally in rejection mode right now. So I will wait out today and start fresh tomorrow.
I did manage to step on scale this morning and I weighed 222 so only up a pound.
BTW, my goal this week is not to get on the scale this entire week until Sunday when I get home from camping. I hope I can do it.
Well thats it for me. I am going to post the same thing in my journal.
I hope everyone is well. And I apologize to my team for my points this past week. This week will be much better. |

Hey Amity,
Congrats on the successful party! Our DD's bdays are the same day then....5/6....and mine turned 4. And don't feel bad.....I ate cake and ice cream, and also some chips with my barbecued burger! Oh and also a margarita! But I figure that was the FIRST big "cheat" since January, so I don't feel bad....and it was worth it as we had a great time with friends / family. I will make up for it this week. I do have to say that on sunday I did not feel all that great, though. My body just isn't used to the sugar, etc. anymore. |

Hey Amity, don't apologize. We all have bad weeks and better weeks. I'm not thrilled with my last week either. I hope you get to feeling better soon! Maybe some chicken & veggie soup would be good? It sounds like your dd's party was great! Lot's of fun but it's great when they're over. I'm sure she had a great time.
Kathi - Sounds like you had a fun party too. The margarita sounds GREAT!!! I haven't had one since starting SBD and really miss them. I wussed this year and didn't do a party for my 5yo son. We had a lot going on with the upcoming move. I'm sure we'll have a big party next year!

Do you do Pilates at home or do you go to a gym? Right now I'm doing a dvd at home but I've been thinking about checking classes at a local gym.

| Mari Winsor at home. My gym has a pilates class, but not at times I can go :( . Last year when I did pilates regularly (everyday for only 20 minutes), I got super results. My stomach became really defined and it was great. I'm trying to get back into the routine since they worked so well. |

Morning all!
Beautiful day out here in Washington! It got pretty warm yesterday and I realized I'll have to start riding early in the am in order to get my bike rides in before it gets hot. The evenings always seem to hectic to get things done around here.
I have a Yogilates dvd that I've been doing. I'll have to check the name of the gal, I think she's from Australia. I'd like to expand what I'm doing though and not have the same workout every day. Time to look for Winsor I guess!

Hey Mongolia, great to "see" you! Dark Chocolate is posting them in the Main Thread that is stickied at the top (not the Log Thread). Great job having TWO PERFECT weeks in a row!!!
Here's our team scores:
Week One - 94.8 with Lia, luvmycritters, and tintime getting perfect scores of 116
Week Two - 88.9 with mongoliabound getting a perfect score
Week Three - 89.8 with mongoliabound getting a perfect score
I plan to have perfect weeks from here on out!!!!!!! I'm still addicted to the scale and as of this morning I've lost 6lbs on the challenge so I am excited. I was pretty upset over the whole foot/bicycle problem but I decided I'd better just get over it and go on with life.
Does anyone know how much chocolate is a serving? I'm too scared to look it up. I treat myself to a small handful of dark chips every so often so I was just wondering.

Awesome job Amity! (Don't worry, didn't forget you, just wanted more posts on our thread  ) Are you planning on running an event or just for the thrill of running? Either is great, I'm just curious.
TOM showed up today for me which is early BUT the scale is down to 172!!! I only record on Monday though so my ticker doesn't show it. Isn't it a nice feeling not to be retaining lots of water during that time? Keep up the great work!!

So...I've been looking in the Main Thread and I don't see the points. I must be blind. Can you tell me what page they're on?
Thanks! |

I'll go check, I'm not sure she's got Week 2 and 3 posted yet. I'm kinda to blame for that. I've been trying to track down our MIAs and encourage them to update their logs. Just a min....
