if you want the URL text in the syntax has to be
[url=http://url]URL text[/url] you see, you have to replace the first "]" with a "=", that's gonna do the trick!

I just found this out for myself last week - so far I always wondered how to do those links myself

Your line isn't quite right. When pasting a URL it should look like this (without spaces)

[ url = http:// URL IN HERE ]Text Here[ / url ]

Does anyone have a major goal they'd like to post here? Kinda the main reason for doing the challenge?

My major goal is to complete my first metric century bicycle ride on June 23rd and feel comfortable wearing biking shorts. :shock: :lol: I also have a lot of jeans that don't fit but I REFUSE to buy any more!!!

Hello fellow greenies! I am new to SB, new to a discussion forum and am really looking forward to this! I have had some trouble posting. It seems like I can sign on and make on post and then I get the message "no post mode specified". This is probably something simple that you all with go "Duh!" , but if anyone can help, I would certainly appreciate it. I was able to send a message to luvmycritters so if this does post, it will be a duplicate question. Sorry and thanks!!

Hey everyone,

Got my exercise in and doing good food wise. Down another pound today which makes me feel good. I have been up and down with the same pound for the past two weeks.

It's kind of hard for me phasing into one challenge from another. You get so used to talking or seeing posts from the same people and then you meet new people just like that. But hey thats cool I will adjust slowly but surely. Thats what these forums are here for.

Knitwit - Wanted to say I think we could be neighbors. Philly burbs here as well. Chester county near Valley Forge. Thats awesome.

Thanks for the help guys. It seems I can't read and copy. LOL! All fixed now.

Today started out beautiful here but now it's cloudy and chilly. I shouldn't complain though, at least we don't have snow. :shock: Spring comes much earlier here than it did in Nebraska and I'm loving it.

Hi Greenies! I'm feeling low about how I did on the last challenge: terribly! Hopefully Pookie's not reading this and I can hide from her in the corner. :oops:

Anyway, I was at a family event on Saturday and was told I looked "hot" by people who haven't seen me in a long time. This reminded me that I have come a long way and that I should be proud of what I've acheived overall, if not recently. At my highest I was about 212 (this was about 5 years ago), I've lost in fits and starts since then and am about 175 now. The next 20 pounds seem impossible to me--which is why I haven't acheived the loss. It's my attitude. Therefore, I'm here to work on being consistent because only then will my attitude change.

Consistency is a challenge for me because I'm a doctoral student and my schedule changes every quarter. However, this is my last quarter of taking classes (Hallelujah!!!) so hopefully I'll be able to create a more regular time schedule for myself.

Day 1, so far so good. 1.5 more bottles of water to go and I will get in cardio this evening. This is good, it makes me get up from my desk..(I have had soo much work lately, and I work from home, that I often work in the evenings too...)

I am trying a new recipe tonight too, woo! There's some bonus points in the bag 8)

I was a challenge addict awhile ago, and I was doing so well. I fell right off after Christmas and put back ALL the weight I worked so hard at...I stopped exercising, etc..I am not very happy with myself..but that's why I am here. So, my first major goal is to loose everything I put back on...about 15-20 lbs :oops: I know I wont loose that all in the 5 weeks, but I would bet that at least 5 of that is water weight too, so I want to put a nice dent in it!

Yea! Almost everyone has their Log thread up and running. I would love to see all of them in Green 'cause it makes us look cool and it's easier for me to find the logs when I'm doing points. Thanks!

I've had a great first day. I'm not sure what I'll be eating for supper since I've got a soccer meeting at 7:00 and need to get going. The kids will be getting fast food but I'll probably just grab a salad or chicken sandwich and ditch the bread. I'll be on again later tonight before bed so if anyone has questions or needs anything let me know.

I just posted my template and I am ready to go!
In the past I have had great success when I challenge myself and set goals. I look forward to completing the challenge and seeing the Green team lead the way.
I had a great day. Ate well and drank tons of water. I too have been discouraged because I have not lost any weight in the last week. In fact, I gained a pound! None the less, I am not too concerned. It took quite a bit of time for my extra weight to pile up and in order to do it right, it will take time to come off. I am feeling motivated and patient. As discouraged as I may become, what is the alternative? Not taking care of myself? Time will pass regardless why not spend it doing something good for myself?
Anyway, good luck to all of you! :lol:

We're up to 14 people! Awesome! Looks like a fun group with P1 & P2 people.

How did everyone's first day go? Mine went very well though supper was a little weird. DD had a soccer meeting so the kids got fast food (rare treat for them) and I ate a mozz stick, hardboiled egg, and sf chai on the way out the door. I rode 10 miles on my bike and decided I don't like the new seat cushion I picked up. :? Ah well, no pain no gain (or should that be loss). :wink:

Good Morning Greenies!!!

Yesterday went very well. I spent about 5 hrs landscaping. Beautiful Sunny Day! :D In fact I did so many squats that I'm no longer sore from my previous workout 3 days ago. Ate clean. Water is never a problem, I'm a cactus. :lol:

Today's Plan --It's our Saturday, (everything is different is the casino world) so that means we will be eating dinner out the next 2 nights. Portion control and no wine. That's the mantra!
This afternoon I plan to get back on the elliptical. It's been 2 yrs since I've been on one, so we'll see how well that goes! Goal is 15 mins and I'll supplement with a walk around the neighborhood.

Have a focused and energetic day!

Well, I had a good day food/water-wise, but I have a cold and feeling pretty crappy so I didn't get any exercise in...not sure if I will today either. BUT I promise, I"ll make up for it by the end of the week!!

I had a grain (WW pasta) with dinner last night for the first time. I felt like I was cheating. And actually, felt too full and bloated last night. Don't think I'll have pasta too often!

Good morning Greenies! (I think that's our official name now! :wink: )

Yesterday went really well. I ate beachy all day, had 93 oz of water, and did 60 minutes cardio (30m treadmill, 30m bike). I didn't do strength like I would normally do because I was running late to the gym.

I also tried a new recipe. Thank goodness I was eating alone or I would've probably been told to shut up! :lol: I'm was mmmm'g after almost every bite! I'll post it in the general thread. Really simple too.

Sounds like everyone so far had a great first day - Hope everyone's second is as successful!!!
