Hey! Where is everybody? I thought I wasn't getting notified from this thread for some reason, but nobody has posted! I hope everyone is doing well today. I am feeling good and plan on doing some upper body weights while watching the Jazz game tonight. (Go Utah!) :D I've done pretty well with my eating, haven't eaten anything off plan, but for breakfast the only thing that tasted good was toast with SB and a little honey. So I ate 3 pieces and had a small slice a quiche. (Oh well, at least I didn't eat 3 bowls of Marshmallow Mateys like yesterday.) I'm making tacos for dinner, I hope I can stand the smell of the meat. That has been a problem in the past.
Good luck, I hope to hear from you soon! Hope you are all doing well! |

Had a problem today! Our office coffee/social club had a treat today, Cousins Subs. I figured okay, I will bring some WW wraps, use the inner part of the sub, and toss the bread. It seemed okay but my system is used to good fats, olive oil and canola oil, in moderation. These sub filling seemed a might bit heavy.
 Lets put it this way, the GI track got rid of the problem....
How do my co-workers live on this junk?
What did I do to get my system back in order, I had for supper a whole heart romaine Caesar salad with fresh tomato and chopped zucchini. It was topped with baked talapia. Sane food. |

Garbage in, Garbage out, right Bob? Sorry you had to endure that wrath....
Team....No workouts here for three days for me. I've been a deadbeat. I've got a really sick kid here at home, and I'm scrambling to keep standing. My weight is down, so that's good. My NSV has been eating clean despite the stress.
I am having a major league guilt week...guilt about a lot of things, including letting my Team Yellow down this week. I promise to pick it up again next week, as long as I don't catch this nasty virus that has invaded my house.
Love you all! I'm sorry! |

Another comment on today.
This morning we had in BodyPump the “Mother of all Shoulder Tracks”. I have been doing BodyPump for over 2 years and never had this one before. The music for that track should have been the “Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.” It start with 20+ push ups of varying pace. It was followed by knelling bar work, both bar raises and shoulder presses. And then there was 20 more pushups of varying pace. It was finished with standing bar work doing forward raises and ending with 24 shoulder presses. Ouch! |

Hi all
Sorry I've been away, but my internet was down all week. Anyway, I've been very beachy, meeting my goals of walking, eating only beachy foods, working out, etc. I'm making my recipe tonight to post tomorrow, and I am actually anxious to weigh in Monday...my jeans are definitely getting too saggy!
Have a wonderful weekend

H Team Yellow!
Hope you are all doing great!
I have had a great time but it wasn't really beachy--a nice plan in theory but no regrets!
I am drinking my water and exercising!
I hope you all are well!
Take care

WooHoo Meemoo!! Congrats!! Hope your pregnancy treats you well!! I remeber the pukey yucky days very well!!
Sorry I have been awol. Life is crazy during recital week. I am lucky too have enough time to think. But it is done now and it was awesome!! Now just a few more practices then it is off to Nationals in Wisconsin Dells in June!! Pure craziness I tell you! But so worth it!
Well, I had to buy a new scale since my other one was done for! So I bought a Weight Watchers scale that tells me more than I want to know!! I have to read the manual more so I can understand it better. But, the darn thing only shows that I have lost 2 pounds since the start of the challenge. So I measured because I could tell my clothes felt different and I have lost inches so I guess I am just going to start over with this scale. It tells me how much I have gained or lost since the last weigh in, BMI, how many pounds of fat my body has, water percentage and bone mass. Seeing the pounds of fat made me sick to my stomache.
So I am afraid I am not much help points wise in as far as weight lost this challenge. It was a bit discouraging to look down and see that but I haven't been entirely beachy lately either. At least I know I have lost inches so all of my working out is paying off.
I am going to do the 6th week of this chalenge and think about joining the next one or I may just follow my own format to keep going. I have a little time to decide that yet.
Otter glad you are having a good cruise. Sounds like fun!! |

Hey Yellow Team!
Just wanted to pop in and say CONGRATS, tonight's the last night of the Challenge! Don't forget to post your "end of Challenge" weigh-in if you haven't already.
Tomorrow starts the 6th BONUS week - who's up for it? I've been insanely busy the past couple weeks, so I am really ready to pull it together and finish off the Challenge with a great final week!
I hadn't set up a week "template" for the bonus week, so if you want to do it, just add in some blank spaces to record your info for the week. And don't forget to set some goals for yourself!
Thanks everyone for participating, I hope you enjoyed the Challenge. It was a lot of fun to put together! And I'm really looking forward to A-Rod's challenge in June... absolutely excited to let someone else take charge. :)
Hope all is well! And if you guys hadn't noticed, as of Week 4, your team was definitely in the lead! I finally got around to posting the scores :) |

Hi team - sorry I didn't do so great last week. Too many work conferences, fund raisers and cookouts. I need to learn to eat beachy even when non beachy foods are offered - I should say - especially when non beachy foods are the fare. I didn't have to eat the raspberry pie AND the chocolate cake. What is interesting to me is that eating carbs and sugar doesn't give me carb cravings but rather meat cravings. I want to eat more hot dogs and burgers and lunch meats. Does this happen to any one else?
I am determined to make the bonus week make up for my lousy showing last week. |

Congratulations to everyone who finished the 5 week challenge!!! Yay!! We did it! We lost a couple of team mates along the way so I am super excited to have completed this myself (especially in my condition ) I also want to congratulate
Old Grey Bob and FTanya they both had a perfect week last week! Way to go guys!
I would like to get our points turned in later today, so if you haven't updated your points for last week, please do so as soon as you can.
I had a good time this challenge, even though I didn't work as hard as I could have (can I be excused?). I enjoyed getting to know some of you and appreciate all the support that we gave each other. I am planning to do the bonus week. Good luck to everyone who is going to do that as well! See you in future challenges!! |
