What/how do you do it. I want details. Tell me a weekly schedule. And how you do it once you're there. How many reps? Slow or fast movements? Lots of leg or belly or upper body workouts? Spill all

I do pretty much the same every time. 4-5 weeks lately. Don't like to go more than one day without. Funny, I have never before in my life enjoyed gym workout. But now I crave it. Love that feeling, when it's not a chore.

I start with cardio. Used to be able to do 20 minutes. Then 20+ 5 slow down. Then 25, and today I did 30. I'm telling you, I'm so outta shape. Most days I do a machine that's similar to an elliptical machine but the wheel is in the front. It burns more calories than the elliptical. But some days I do the regular elliptical.

Then I do machines. I like the pulley machines more than the air pressure ones but I do both anyways. I do 3 sets with 10 reps in each set. I do rowing, chest, back, belly and arm machines. Sometimes I squeeze in some inner/outer thigh ones (the one where you look like you're at the OB/GYN's) and very rarely calves and front/back thigh. I do my movements slowly so I get resistance both pushing away and back. I saw a lady today and she pumped her arms like no tomorrow.

I don't quite know how to use free weights, balls and rubberbands so I stay away from that.

I swear I can already see a difference on my upper body (shoulders, chest, arms) even tho I know it takes a while to build muscles. Now, if I couldonly get rid of belly and thigh fat too!

I used to love going to the gym, but haven't had a membership in years (since I pay so much in martial arts tuition and spend so much time there, I couldn't justify a gym membership too).

I got a new job with a chiropractic/physical therapy practice a few months ago and just yesterday the lead PT guy told me that if I was interested, he had a free gym membership to give me (this great gym is right downstairs).

I am so stoked! I can go workout right after work and never have to leave the building! I used to do free weights and loved it, and I can't wait to start up again.

sounds like you are on the arc trainer... I love the Cybex arc trainer and it tells me an hour on it at weight loss level 5 is 700 calories....

Here is my workout schedule: http://webpages.charter.net/oldgreybob/Exercise.html
If I am forced not to follow my schedule, I have been know to get a little grumpy. (DW says more than a little!)
