Hello,
My name is Rachel Peterson and I am conducting research with the University of Central Florida. I am not trying to sell anything, the research is related to weight status, in hopes of improving current weight-loss programs. The survey is brief, completely anonymous, and available online. If you have about 35 minutes, it would help me greatly if you would take the time to complete the survey (more information and link below) and I am particularly in need of men to complete the study.

Are you interested in helping improve the effectiveness of current weight-loss programs? If you are currently or ever have been overweight and dieted at some point in your life, we hope that you will participate in a brief study (approximately 35 minutes). Studies such as this cannot be conducted without the participation of individuals such as yourself.
We are interested in how individuals’ thoughts are related to their weight status, in hopes of creating better weight-loss programs. The current study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board at the University of Central Florida. Rachel Peterson is a clinical psychology doctoral candidate and the study is her dissertation research, which is supervised by Dr. Stacey Tantleff Dunn, an Associate Professor at the University of Central Florida. Men and women are needed for this study, and you must be 18 years of age or older to participate (I am particularly in need of male participants).
