Did a short ride last night. Started late and the skies were threatening so I didn't want to stray too far. Legs felt decent.
Btw, did I tell all that I am using my mother's roling pin to roll out my legs? :P |

That works. I'm experimenting with ice/heat baths but it's a pain.
My bike fit is tomorrow afternoon. |

Want details of the bike fit.
Thinking about my setup. Dropped my seat a bit so I won't keep bruising myself. Now seems rather relaxed. I'm gonna give it a few rides. May end up re-flipping the stem. Probably need to do a complete fit all over again at some point.
Girl on TE was selling a bunch of shorts that didn't fit. I'm getting 3 pair of PI Ultras for $45. :D Retail $90/ea. I'm going to suddenly be shorts rich.
Saw the end of TdF at lunch. Love the sprint finishes.
ETA: on baths, I have a bath pillow. When I'm achey, I fill the tub up put in some salts, soak. With the pillow you could easily go to sleep. Put a hot washcloth over any exposed bits. There are salts esp made for recovery. But they are expensive. |

Fabulous finish today. Very cool. The four leaders were screwed either way, but they should have gone down sprinting for the win.
Yeah, I'm sort of nervous about the fit. It will be a long afternoon. |

| That sounds good. The idea, I guess, is to get the legs into a tub of ice water for 10min, then a warm bath, and repeat. It forces your body to flush your legs. Something like that. |

The manager at my shop told me a while back they were getting in a new fit system and some guy was going to train them on it. Never heard more. He said it was comparable to the Serotta one.
Which bike(s) you taking? |

| A lot of shops use the Serotta fitcycle gizmo. It's just a fancy jig but it works. I'm taking the road bike. They simply establish your three contact points, so I can apply that to all the bikes. We think. |

Famous last words. Thought sure it would be the CC bike. |

| Which part is famous? If I can't get the bike dialed in, then the wrench can with the fitter's numbers. He fits for Parlee and IF. The CX bike is exactly the same fit, only the bottom bracket is a bit higher. |

You don't think all your words are pearls and thus worthy of fame?
If the geometries of the 2 bike are quite similar, probably not a problem. |

| The geometries aren't that similar but the contact points are the same now -- different stem lengths, spacers, zero setback vs setback posts on those two bikes -- lots of ways to tweak. |
