hi guys, im slim anyway, i would just like some idea of how many situps i should do daily, and how often each day to get a great set of abs
i.e 30 in morning 0 at night for example |

| 3 sets of 10-12 crunches on a stability ball -- never the floor. If you can do more than 12 you need to add weight to your chest. |

| well i dnt even know what tht ball is :( was just on the bed did about 5- 60 crunches / situps and had major burn, could this work if i did 3 sets a day? |

A stability ball (AKA Swiss Ball).
When you do crunches on a flat surface you limit your range of motion severely -- you can't extend backwards. This is harmful because a primary function of your abs, the Rectus Abdominis in particular, is to stabilize your spine in the event of an impact. When you train on a flat surface you are de-training your abs.
Furthermore, these are fast-twitch muscles that are intended to fire quickly (see above). When you do long slow sets with high reps you are training these muscles as slow-twitch muscles. |
