Hey there. This is my first post here. I'm sure you know how some people can just eat all day long and never gain any weight. The whole metabolism thing.. And as we get older, it's more difficult to burn fat..
Well has anyone here considered hormone replacement therapy (HRT)?
If so, have you posted any results? If not, than we should definitely talk about it. As we age, we produce less growth hormone and testosterone. Now for men, I know HRT clinics will prescribe testosterone and or growth hormone. For women, I'm not sure if they prescribe testosterone, but the growth hormone is definitely important.
What I'm saying here is.. There's a good possibility that your being overweight is because of low levels of growth hormone or testosterone.. If you're having trouble losing weight and you're dieting and excercising, then this is likely the problem.
Or.. If you lose weight too slowly - feeling that you're not getting enough benefit from diet and exercise, HRT is something that will put an end to this scenario..
I've had plenty of ups and downs while dieting. But, there was a point where I was losing a pound per day. I was dieting and doing lots of exercise.. Now motivation was certainly not a problem. At a pound per day, what more motivation does one need?
However, when you're dieting and exercising and seeing results come very slowly, sure it's difficult to give up.. And that's what I'm saying here.. If you've never considered HRT - and you're having trouble losing weight - than give it some thought..
Just an FYI.. I don't sell testosterone or growth hormone and I'm not affiliate with any clinics or anything like that. I'm just an advocate for HRT because I've seen the results, experienced the results and feel people aren't being told about it like they should.
There's no surgery involved or anything like that.. It's easy and it helps a lot. I'm not saying it's cheap - but it works..
Any thoughts? |

Looking out on the morning rain
I used to feel uninspired
And when I knew I had to face another day
Lord, it made me feel so tired
Before the day I met you, life was so unkind
But your love was the key to peace my mind |

Q: How do you make a hormone?
A: You don't pay her! ba-da-bump!! grooaaannnn......
Does this mean we shouldn't delete this? Quite an elaborate spam post I must say.
AND she's a tatooed waxer!! oh the unnaturalness of it all! Although there are a lot of fully natural women at my yoga classes in Boulder and I'm not sure it's a good thing. |
