Flu - the real one, not SB!

I am soooooo sick right now and am wondering what SB friendly foods would be good comfort food once I am able to keep stuff down. Things too high in fiber will kill me. I want my old standby's, but I don't want to de-rail myself by indulging too much. I did have a warm flat sprite and that brought me back to the days when as a kid my mom would take care of me while I was sick. Not SB friendly, but necessary. What do you guys eat when you're sick?

I know that it is high in fiber, but I found from experience the a bowl of hot Irish style steel cut oats with a little sweetener of choice and a splash of nf milk sits mighty fine on a tender stomach.

Hope you feel better soon!

Thank you for all your great ideas. I think a bowl of McCann's would be perfect this morning for my first solid food. High in fiber, but warm and good.
Maybe some unsweetened applesauce later on.
My whole family caught this horrible flu. So much for our flu shots!
Stay healthy!
