| hey i was just hoping to get a bit of feed back on the book, that is the SBD book not cookbook. i have been following the diet for a week and it looks like all i lost was 1 pound if two at all, i guess i am just guessing that since i made the mistake of not weighing myself before i started. stupid me. oh well 1 to2 pounds is okay for me cuz all i got to lose is 20 pounds and i am 5ft so it all makes sense that i am not losing big. what i wanna know is what the book is about, i mean do i need to buy it. it seems that i can get enough info here so why buy it. is a thick book or thin like how many pages? |

THE ACTUAL READING PART OF THE BOOK IS ABOUT 100 PAGES. IT READS FAST, HAS A FEW TESTIMONIALS IN IT AND EVEN A FAILURE IN IT. MY HUSBAND'S DOCTOR RECOMMENDED THAT WE BOTH READ IT BEFORE WE STARTED THE PLAN.
THE SECOND AND THIRD PARTS ARE MEAL SUGGESTIONS AND RECIPES FOR EACH PHASE OF SBD.
GET IT...IT IS PRETTY CHEAP AT WALMART. |

I highly suggest reading the book. It tells you how your body digests certain foods (like it's healthier to have a baked potato with cheese and sour cream, then just a plain baked potato), and that is information that you can take with you to restaurants, the grocery store...so you know the best and most healthy way of eating. It is also a reference guide. If you get lost along the way you can always go back and re-read the pieces you need to.
Like someone above me said, it's a pretty quick read, and I thought it was also a pretty interesting read. Just my 2 cents. :D |
