| I am experiencing something very strange and wondered if anyone else has had the same problem. I started my period and it won't stop. It usually lasts about 3 days-I'm now on day 8! I've been reading a lot of terrible things about Splenda and one woman had the same trouble, along with a whole lot of other side effects (she was consuming large amounts). I only have a couple of packets a day. Anyone else having difficulties? |

There are several side effects associated with Splenda. Some experience them, some don't. All sweetners give me migraines, so I don't use any of them.
I say, stop using the stuff if it is affecting you and if you are concerned. |

i doubt that splenda is causing an 8 day period. I used to have 10 days when i was on pure junk food all the time. a week is average.
could just be that eating better has changed your hormonal balance.
if you are concerned call your gyn~ |

| Not everything we experience is a result of SBD or splenda. If it persists, check it out. |

I realize that a week long period is normal but I haven't had a period that long my entire menstral life and I'm 40 years old! 2-4 days max.
I posted the same message on another forum on this site and someone else experienced the same thing. Said she went to the DR and they said it was just the stress on her body of changing her eating habits so drastically (which had crossed my mind). But when I started reading all the crazy things about splenda, I kinda freaked out!
Thanks for all the good advice! |
