Jumpstarting thread...
No, we didn't. We didn't miss it because... you don't know this? I know something about history that you don't know. |

I had it with the first one, i just had to think of the title... i hate when i can see the scene playing out, but can't think of the name of the movie :D
oh.. National Treasure! One of Nicholas Cages better movies.
Here is one from 2005:
"Just one hour to go. My last day on the job. Early retirement. Not my idea. Doctor's orders. Heart condition. Angina, he calls it. I'm polishing my badge and getting used to the idea of saying goodbye to it. It and the 30 odd years of protecting and serving and tears and... blood and terror... triumph it represents. I'm thinking about Ilene's slow smile, bout the thick, fat steak she picked up at the butchers today. I'm thinking about the one loose end I haven't tied up. A little girl out there, caught in the hands of a drowning lunatic." |

Bruce Willis in the really quirky Sin City.
Picked this one up yesterday for DD out of Wlamart's bargain bin.
C1: INCONCEIVABLE.
C2: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. |

From 2003:
C1: The last stage of the flower is the most glorious. So what this calendar would be saying is "actually, yes John, we agree".
C2: With respect, I didn't hear him use the phrase "whip your bras off" |

Calendar Girls. It made me cry.
"I don't know where she is, I never leave this place. Your people asked our families to leave. So we hid in the mines, and you brought out your bombs and turned everything to ashes! You destroyed our homes and made us what we've become. Boom! Boom! Boom!"
Scary/Gorey- 2006. the sequel comes out next month. |

Don't think I know this one. First thought was something science fiction, Tomorrow's CHild???
Scarey/gory with a sequel makes it sound like a Texas Chainsaw Massacre type flick. |

Okay, this is from one of my favorite movies.
HE: You lure men to their deaths, like a spider with flies!
SHE: Flies are where men are most vulnerable. |
