Today I'm celebrating being halfway to my goal weight. When I decided to start SB on 7-10-06, I was in a lot of emotional pain over my weight issues. I couldn't believe how big I had become. I was depressed and would not leave the house except to go to work. I took this picture while my DH was out of the house because I was so ashamed. Then I cried after I saw it. Here I am at 175lbs and busting out of size 16s:

Here I am at 165. 10 lbs lighter and a new "do". I've been exercising and my whole attitude is changing. I'm beginning to have some hope.
Finally, my DH took these yesterday at 145. I'm now wearing a size 12.
Now everyday is a wonderful day. I feel happy, fit and energetic. I'm no longer afraid to go out in public. DH loves the new me! |

You look fabulous! CONGRATS!!!!!
And I know the feeling... I started SB at a wopping 196! AND I am only 5'4!!! I look even now like a little beach ball with stick arms and legs! Want to cry... actually do at times!
But then, thats when I realize that these here bodies are but temporal while here on earth... and there is even a scripture that tells us to focus more on the spiritual body more than the physical! You look like a lady with class, even before the weightloss! So you go girl! |

| Wow, you look great - and the most amazing thing to me is your body language. Just from your posture it's clear that the first pictures were really hard for you - but then you have a whole new attitude in the "new do" picture - and a clear confidence in the third set! This is really neat to see. Good for you!!! |
